EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCHES REGARDING THE DENSIMETRIC SEPARATOR FOR CLEANING OF THE WHEAT DESTINED TO MILLING

    Get PDF
The cleaning of cereal seeds represent an essential operation of the conditioning chain. Taking into account all considerations, the experts׳ attention has been drawn by the study of phenomena which influence upon the impurities separation process, aiming at a maximum reduction impurities. The paper presents the constructive and functional scheme of an densimetric separator driven by means of electrical motovibrators, in view of theirs utilisation with best results for the drive of vibrating sieves. The results of the experimental researches are highlighted, after which the optimal operating parameters were established

CONSIDERATIONS ON THE TECHNOLOGIES FOR SEPARATING FRUIT SEEDS WITH APPLICATIONS ON THE SEPARATION OF SEABUCKTHORN PULP FROM SEEDS

Sea-buckthorn is a shrub fruit whose benefits have been known since antiquity. The whole plant is considered medicinal by specialists in the field, but the most active part is the sea-buckthorn fruit because it has a beneficial effect on the entire human body and more recently on animal breeding. A high-value by-product is sea-buckthorn oil, which is currently gaining traders’ attention at international level and which is obtained from both fruit and pomace resulting from the extraction of juice (shells and seeds). This paper presents some representative technolo-gies and installations used for fruit processing in general, technologies that will be the basis for the realization by INMA Bucharest of a technical equipment for separating sea-buckthorn pulp from the seeds

RESEARCH REGARDING LABORATORY TESTING OF SOIL PROCESSING EQUIPMENT USING THE EFFECT OF ELECTRO-OSMOSIS

    Get PDF
Electro-osmosis principle consists of the application of a direct current voltage for an anode-cathode system introduced into soil. The soil water transported from the anode to cathode, on the tool-soil contact surface will produce a lubrification of an active surface and through this a great decreasing of the friction forces and implicit of the energy needed for displacing the tool through the soil. The active surface of the tilling tool is chosen in order to minimize the frictions, respective the mechanic energies needed for tilling. This paper aims to increase the popularization of the electro-osmosis technique, highlighting the advantages of using such a method for soil improvements, as well as in view of optimizing the functional parameters of the soil tillage equipment

The cleaning of cereal seeds represent an essential operation of the conditioning chain. Taking into account all considerations, the experts׳ attention has been drawn by the study of phenomena which influence upon the impurities separation process, aiming at a maximum reduction impurities. The paper presents the constructive-functional scheme of an intensive cleaner separator SAI 800 driven by means of electrical motovibrators, design, manufactured and testing at INMA Bucharest. The results of the experimental researches are highlighted, after which the optimal operating parameters were established.
