    The Development of Grain Farming

    No full text
The task of grain farming is to satisfy the country's ever greater needs for high-quality food and fodder grain, to create necessary state grain reserves, and to provide reserves for its export. These tasks can be achieved by increasing the gross harvest through higher yields; making better use of resources; securing the harvest against loss to the greatest extent possible; improving the quality of grains; seeing to it that the grain is processed effectively and mat all types of grain products reach the consumer without interruption; reducing losses in the consumption sphere; and making rational use of food waste.
