Organization of sanitary and anti-epidemic activities during the 2013 flood in the Amur region

The article considers the organizational aspect of sanitary anti-epidemic measures in flooded areas during the 2013 flood in the Amur Region. The methods of coordinating the sanitary-epidemiological situation, the types of units involved in the aftermath of the natural disaster, and the ways in which various structures interact are analyzed and generalized. The author comes to the conclusion: a scientifically sound and well-coordinated mechanism for organizing and implementing the full range of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures allowed to prevent the occurrence of epidemics of infectious diseases and contributed to the most rapid elimination of the effects of flooding.В статье рассматривается организационный аспект санитарно-противоэпидемических мероприятий на подтопленных территориях во время наводнения 2013 года в Амурской области. Анализируются и обобщаются способы осуществления координации санитарно-эпидемиологической ситуации, виды подразделений, участвовавших в ликвидации последствий стихийного бедствия, способы взаимодействия различных структур. Автор приходит к выводу: научно обоснованный и четко слаженный механизм организации и осуществления полного комплекса санитарно-противоэпидемических мероприятий позволил не допустить возникновения эпидемий инфекционных заболеваний и способствовал наиболее быстрой ликвидации последствий подтопления

Manifestations of diabetes in the oral cavity in patients of the age group 60-75 years

The article discusses the effect of diabetes on the condition of the oral mucosa. The degree of correlation between diabetes mellitus and possible pathological manifestations in the oral cavity that are present in atients with diabetes mellitus is analyzed. The correlation value obtained in the course of a practical study is compared with similar parameters available in literary sources. The authors conclude: the values of the indicators indicated in the literature are confirmed by empirically obtained data. The study also supplemented the already existing information according to the claimed information with the following laws: the presence of fibrotic lesions of the oral cavity in diabetics.В статье рассматривается влияние сахарного диабета на состояние слизистой оболочки полости рта. Анализируется степень корреляции между сахарным диабетом и возможными патологическими проявлениями в полости рта, имеющимися у больных сахарным диабетом. Полученное в ходе практического исследования значение корреляции сравнивается с аналогичными параметрами, имеющимися в литературных источниках. Авторы приходят к выводу: значения показателей, указанные в литературных источниках, подтверждаются эмпирически полученными данными. Проведенное исследование также дополнило уже имевшуюся по заявленной информацию следующими закономерностями: наличие фиброзных поражений полости рта у диабетиков

Cladding of stainless steel on carbon steel

The possibility of producing anticorrosion and wear resistant cladding from stainless steel onto tool and carbon steels by means of melting in high energy density light flux is demonstrated. Experiments are conducted in an installation with two arc xenon lamps of 10 kW power of each. Metallographic investigation of the interface shows the existence of high quality metallic bond between the clad and base material. The dilution of Ni and Cr is shown to depend on the melting time. A strong correlation between microstructure of produced cladding and treatment parameters - flux density and exposure time - is revealed
