This article presents a new design of a quadrature shadow oscillator. The oscillator is realized using one input and two outputs of a second-order filter cell together with external amplifiers in a feedback configuration. The oscillation characteristics are controlled via the external gain without disturbing the internal filter cell, following the concept of the shadow oscillator. The proposed circuit configuration is simple with a small component-count. It consists of, two voltage-different transconductance amplifiers (VDTAs) along with a couple of passive elements. The frequency of oscillation (FO) and the condition of oscillation (CO) are controlled orthogonally via the dc bias current and external gain. Moreover, with the addition of the external gain, the frequency range of oscillation can be further extended. The proposed work is verified by computer simulation with the use of 180 nm complementary metal–oxide–semiconductor (CMOS) model parameters. The simulation gives satisfactory results of two sinusoidal output signals in quadrature with some small total harmonic distortions (THD). In addition, a circuit experiment is performed using the commercial operational transconductance amplifiers LM13700 as the active components. The circuit experiment also demonstrates satisfactory outcome which confirms the validity of the proposed circuit

This study explored beliefs and rituals related to Chao Bao Noi (the Little Bridegroom) on Khuan Sung hill, Southern Thailand. The data of this qualitative study were collected from related documents, research reports, and in-depth interviews with Phru To locals. The study found that the beliefs in Chao Bao Noi have existed for over 100 years and Phru To locals still have a strong belief that Chao Bao Noi is the sacred tree dwelled in by gods. In the past, Phru To locals tended rice farming and fruit plantations and had to depend on the uncertainties of nature. Thus, they had to learn to struggle for survival by adapting to nature and requesting Chao Bao Noi to give them soil fertility, and when their wishes were fulfilled, they performed rituals as repayment for the favors given by Chao Bao Noi. However, villagers of the new generation, especially those of working age, still want Chao Bao Noi to provide them with spiritual support but they have adapted the rituals of paying respect to Chao Bao Noi to suit the present social situation. The purpose of this research was to investigate Thai Muslims' way of life through the way their clothes. The data of this qualitative research were collected from related documents and research reports, ancient cloths and clothing, and in-depth interviews with clothes owners and weavers. The research found that in the 18th century Thai Muslims in the three southern border provinces used many types of clothing in their life. At home women wore plain clothes. They used checked cloths to cover the upper part of their body from the breasts down to the waist. When going out, they used Lima cloth and So Kae with a piece of Pla-nging cloth as a head scarf. For men, they wore a checked sarong as a lower garment, and wore no upper garment. However, when going out, they wore Puyo Potong. In addition, Thai Muslims used cloths in various religious rites, namely, the rite of placing a baby in a cradle, the Masoyawi rite, the Nikah rite, and the burial rite. These types of cloths were related to the way of life of Thai Muslims from birth to death. They reflected the race, gender, age, social status, values, and beliefs in traditions that have been inherited. Practical Implication: Woven in these cloths are the lost local wisdom, and therefore, aesthetics on the cloths are like mirrors reflecting the background of people in this region that is fading away. These cloths are pages of a local history book that is of importance and value worth for preservation and publicity so that they are treasured. Government organizations can expand and materialize the knowledge received from the study in accordance with government policy in supporting the One Tambon, One Product project

The Electrical Energy Modeling of the Modular Off-Grid PV System for Aquaculture Application in the EEC Region

Renewable energy as a solar photovoltaic system represents an essential role in improving and promoting energy sustainability in agricultural/aquaculture-related activities. The “Crab Bank” is the program on practicing the caught gravid females of Blue Swimming Crab (BSC) in supporting conditions, allowing them to spawn and then release the zoea and young crabs back to the sea where are in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). Onward with the project, many scientific studies assess the BSC stocks condition, evaluate the fishing habitat, and other relevant issues as the energy used in a micro-indoor system as Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). The off-grid solar photovoltaic system is used in the system cause the installed location was near the seaside area. The system’s large size was operating, including solar panels, inverter, charger, and batteries to maintain the AC motor pump, affecting much energy loss in the system. The off-grid solar system design for modular systems is represented in this paper to describe the new structure of the micro modular RAS that reduces cost and increases the solar system’s efficiency in modular concepts comparing the traditional system. The new structure model represents the calculation result in the term of electrical energy and experiment to scale for replacement in the aquaculture area in Rayong or Jantaburi in the EEC region. This research is a cooperation between KMUTNB Rayong and the Provincial Energy Office Of Rayong
