Axiological Colours of the Child’s Worlds in Contemporary Polish Feature Films

Now that the audiovisual culture is evolving, films seem to be a source of various stories about us and our world and of certain models that we follow. Film, as a discursive element of pop culture, calls for a search for answers to some most ambiguous questions regarding the axiological colours of the child’s worlds. The aim of these considerations is to recognize and describe the axiological dimension of the child’s world in contemporary Polish cinema, using films by Dorota Kędzierzawska as examples. The child’s worlds, unobvious due to axiological chaos, are shown. Shifting Borders – Shifting Languages: Investigating Commemorative Cityscape in Poznań and Słubice

This article explores patterns of street renaming in two locations which over the last century were interchangeably controlled by Germany and Poland: Posen/Poznań and Dammvorstadt/Słubice. It examines how changes in the language of administration influenced their urban streetscape. The results demonstrate that there are several different semantic categories of street names which show varied affinity to change. Commemorative street names inscribing personal names are most prone to alteration, while those based on topology and landmarks are often translated from one language to another and retain their meaning. Street names based on place names are a heterogeneous category with directional names showing more stability than those which represent the national geographical imagery

W pięciolecie ratyfikacji przez Polskę Konwencji UNESCO z 2003 roku w sprawie ochrony niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego

The UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage from 2003 was ratified by Poland in 2011. Since then numerous activities have been undertaken to popularise the knowledge of the Convention, its objectives and opportunities of promoting knowledge referring to cultural heritage. In Poland, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and the National Heritage Institute are engaged in implementing its postulates. Members of non-governmental organizations, including members of the Polish Ethnological Society, actively participate in these activities. The article discusses circumstances accompanying the introduction of the Convention in Poland and characterizes main activities for its popularisation. Konwencja UNESCO z 2003 roku w sprawie ochrony niematerialnego dziedzictwa kulturowego została ratyfikowana przez Polskę w 2011 roku. Od tego czasu podejmowane są liczne działania na rzecz upowszechnienia wiedzy o Konwencji, jej celach i możliwościach promowania wiedzy dotyczącej dziedzictwa kulturowego. W Polsce wdrażaniem jej postulatów zajmuje się Ministerstwo Kultury i Dziedzictwa Narodowego oraz Narodowy Instytut Dziedzictwa. W działania aktywnie włączają się przedstawiciele organizacji pozarządowych, w tym członkinie i członkowie Polskiego Towarzystwa Ludoznawczego. Zmiana uczestników profesjonalnych po uzyskaniu przez inwestora decyzji o pozwoleniu na budowę w świetle przepisów Prawa budowlanego

The construction permit allows the investor to carry out the construction works. The investor might not have expertise in the field ofconstruction, therefore during the process of building professionals are appointed and they become official participants of it. They include: construction manager, supervisor and designer, whose task, in general, is to help the investor. Their occurrence after the release of a building permit may be due to construction law, administrative decision – building permit, or be dependenton the will of the investor. The purpose of this article is to analyse the methods and relevant provisions, which allow the above mentioned participants to be changed, following the issue of the decision of the building permit, with particular emphasis on the time aspects of continuation of the functions exercised by them. Artykuł dotyczy identyfikacji wartości wysoko cenionych chronionych ustawowo w działalności gospodarczej i relacji między wartościami wysoko cenionymi a konkurencyjnością i innowacyjnością przedsiębiorstw. Ich wpływna konkurencyjność przedsiębiorstw jest ewidentny – poszczególne wartości chronione ustawowo stanowią granice swobody prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej w danym rodzaju działalności, natomiast traktowane łącznie tworzą uwarunkowania prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej.
