Studies regarding the sustainable development of rural tourism and agritourism in the Vatra Dornei microzone, Suceava county
The investigations
conducted at the Vatra Dornei microzone,
Suceava County, which is made up of 11
administrative-territorial units (Broşteni,
Ciocăneşti, Cîrlibaba, Crucea, Dorna Arini,
Dorna Candreni, Iacobeni, Panaci, Poiana
Stampei, Şaru Dornei and Vatra Dornei
Municipality) have shown that all these
localities had similar conditions as concerns
soil and climatic conditions, socialeconomic
development, high touristic
potential and relatively low density of
population (below 45 inhabitants/km2). Our
studies carried out in the Vatra Dornei
microzone on the sustainable development
of rural tourism and agritourism showed that
in the investigated area there was a specific
form of agritourism, corresponding to the
mountainous area, which had specific
features in every village and commune. The
basic element of the sustainable
development within these localities was
represented by a new orientation of the farm
development. The agritouristic pensions
from the studied area have two stars, while
at Dorna Candreni, there are three starpensions
(Poiana and Poiana Izvoarelor
Pensions)
APPRECIATION OF THE ADAPTABLE CAPACITY OF AGRICULTURAL EXPLOITATION TO THE EXIGENICES OF ITS ACTIVITY DOMAIN
The survival and development of the agricultural exploitation depend on its capacity to adapt
and answer to the external exigencies, on the competitive advantages and distinctive competences
which they have in comparison to the rival companies. That is why, starting from the gathered data
and conclusions form an animal husbandry farm, the present analysis has as main objective the
adaptable capacity and the competitive profile of the analyzed unit. Agromold Est S.R.L. Strunga Iasi
County was set up in January 2008, having as main objective animal husbandry, and the activities of
milk producing. The administrator has experience in this field and plans to develop this activity on a
large scale in accordance with the perspectives imposed by the European Community. One of the
important features of the market economy is represented by the competition, being in fact based on the
open confrontation between the economic agents and on the supremacy of offer and demand. It is
essential to know very well the competition in order to adopt the most appropriate measures for the
unfolding of the activity and to counteract their actions

Features and economic efficiency in agricultural systems in Iasi county after EU accession
The culture system of plants in Iasi county comprises the following subsystems: the structure of crops, used varieties
and hybrids, production technologies, system of necessary machines and manpower, measures to prevent and combat
diseases and pests, work land improvements necessary to preserve and increase the productive potential of soil.
The position of Iasi county as merging point of three different relief units as potential agro-pedo-climatic - South side of
the Plain of Moldavia, south-eastern extremity of Suceava Plateau and the northern half of Central Moldavian Plateau -
allows both an agriculture oriented towards crop production and towards animal agricultural production.
In Iasi County 54% of the farmland is owned by individual farms, 26% by other farms, 14% by agricultural companies
and only 6% by agricultural associations.
To meet increased competition, agricultural establishments in Iasi will need to tailor different combinations of inputs
and capital in order to adapt to the necessities of modernization and peculiarities of the agricultural process.
Technological improvements should be aimed primarily to use the inputs that have favourable effects on reducing costs
and do not violate the rules on environmental protection.
Until 2013 Iasi County will redefine as an active and dynamic area of development, providing decent living conditions
for residents, by turning to good account the agriculture and energy, by taking advantage of human capital and by
combining rich tradition with creative and technological modernity

Degree of Association and Cooperation in Agriculture of Iasi and Vaslui Counties
Concentration of production on farms of optimal size and diversification and
specialization of agricultural production are closely related to the development of relations of
association and cooperation along the technological production flow of agricultural raw materials, but
also to the processing and use of agricultural products. The forms of association are regulated by Law
no. 36/1991. The legislative framework presents different forms of association, from the simple, to the
establishment of agricultural companies. In Iasi County, in the private sector which is a majority, the
largest agricultural areas are owned by private companies, about 47%, the private agricultural
associations holding only 9.7%. The agriculture of Vaslui County has an agricultural potential of
401,015 hectares, 355,376 hectares in the private sector (88.6%) and 45,639 hectares in the state sector
(11.4%). As a means of organizing agriculture, in the county there are about 300 commercial farms,
producing for the market and having different organizational forms, such as companies, agricultural
companies, associations and individual freelancers. The area worked in farms (as a form of
organization) such as: companies, agricultural companies, associations and authorized individual
companies. Compared with 2009, in 2010 the associative forms in the private sector grew with 1612
ha. In 2009, the largest share of farmland is occupied by arable land (81% of total), followed by
pasture (13%), vineyards, orchards and meadows
Aspects regarding the assurance of seed quality indicators in agricultural research units
The quality of products and services has become a determining factor of organizations' competitiveness. Making
progress in improving the quality of products and services must be a priority concern for the entire economy. Currently,
"quality management" is emerging more and more as a profitable solution for the development of organizations of any
kind. The production of seeds with excellent quality characteristics depends on the scientific basis of activities in the
field of seeds, including, on the one hand, the theoretical basis of genetics, seeds breeding, and on the other hand, the
activities of obtaining through in-depth understanding and the application of modern methods of conservative selection.
This knowledge is necessary for the permanent maintenance of the genetic structure and biological value at the initial
level of the genotypes of agricultural plants. In this sense, it is necessary to apply specific techniques for the production,
processing and preservation of seeds. In order to achieve these objectives, the accumulated knowledge must be
optimally applied to the entire process of seed production, starting with the selection of typical plants from varieties and
research in the field of conservative selection, obtaining it from the breeder's seed until ensuring the necessary certified
seed. Seed quality testing is carried out by seed testing laboratories that have been authorized for this purpose by the
competent authority. Official certification is achieved by issuing field inspection documents and laboratory analyzes
(tests) and by applying official labels to packages containing seeds that meet the quality conditions provided for in the
rules, by species or groups of species, or, as the case may be, of official vignettes and possibly seals
Elements of the economic educational management system
In the current conditions, the increase of the complexity of the problems faced by the educational activity in terms of
institutional reform, of the economic-financial deficit, it is necessary to adopt a managerial manner appropriate to the
permanent dynamics of the national socio-economic system. Therefore, a managerial process adaptive to the problems of
the education sector must be adopted, which must solve both the multitude and diversity of activities to be carried out to
achieve a competent educational product, in a framework correlated and harmonized with the difficulties required by the
allocation of resources. The realization of the educational product is not the result of a spontaneous transformation of
young pupils and students, but is the result of a wide and complex series of inhomogeneous actions, interrelated
methodologically and organizationally, involving human, material, mechanical and financial resources. organized,
planned, coordinated, controlled and evaluated in an efficient operational and implicitly managerial system. Nowadays,
the school unit with economic profile is more and more approached and perceived as an organization, as a system, its
main function being to transform the “inputs”, materialized through students, teachers, knowledge and cultural values,
financial resources, etc., in the desirable “outputs”, respectively the results of school education: educated young people,
having knowledge in the economic sector, with a social authority induced in this education, new information and
knowledge, new values, new representations and cultural values
