Victory For Vicky
Vicky has decided now to begin a Christmas present for herself. While other women knit argyles inn the hope of finishing them for the man of the moment by Christmas, Vicky is going to work on making herself a smoother, more popular woman by December 25
Vicky Takes To the Sun
As the mercury in the thermometer soars upward, Vicky prepares her wardrobe for play. Warm summer weekends mean swimming, sunning, picnics and tennis. Summer shows cottons crisp as taffeta, cool rayons and sturdy denims that can take the beating of a picnic at the Ledges
Vicky
Once Vicky was given a beautiful, bunny-soft sweater. After wearing it to a dance and three physics labs, it needed washing, so she gaily dumped it in with the rest of her wash at the Launderette. Horrors! Now the sweater wouldn\u27t even fit her 2- month-old niece, so Vicky has learned how to wash delicate clothing the right way
Third Finger, Left Hand
There was a time when a woman wore a diamond on her first finger if not engaged; on her second if engaged; on her third if married; and on her fourth if she intended to die an old maid. But that is ancient lore. Today\u27s woman has dreamed of diamonds and star dust and romance since she was in pigtails ... and in all the dreams the ring is on her third finger, left hand
Vicky Steps Out In Cotton
Vicky\u27s having a hey day. Spring is coming and she has only one cool cotton dress in her closet. So she\u27s haunting the fabric counters and is delighted as a kitten with catnip at what she\u27s found. Her old dresses, too short, faded or worn out, are on the way to children in Holland or dusting the furniture on cleaning clay. The new ones she\u27s making are planned to make her look as cool as a Union malt when hot weather arrives
