    Geometry of percolating monopole clusters

    Get PDF
We perform detailed measurements of the geometrical characteristics of the percolating cluster of the magnetic monopole currents in the confining phase of the lattice SU(2) gluodynamics. The Maximal Abelian projection is used to define the monopoles. The use of the geometrical language is motivated by recent observations that the full non-Abelian action associated with the monopoles corresponds to point-like particles on the currently available lattices. Scaling behavior of various quantities is observed.Comment: 3 pages, 4 figures, Lattice2002(topology

Analysis of cooperation level service applications in Ukrainian national grid-infrastructure is conducted focusing on LFC central data catalog services. Methods for building high available central data catalog service employing IBM Z800 Mainframe installation are presented. Specialities of zSeries hardware architecture and Nordugrid ARC middleware software were taken into account for service implementation on top of the mainframe and HPC cluster of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Grid job description generation technique for accessing high available LFC service was applied to the implementation of MolDynGrid Virtual Laboratory grid-portal in the Ukrainian national grid-infrastructure

SU(2) Gluodynamics and HP1 sigma-model embedding: Scaling, Topology and Confinement

We investigate recently proposed HP1 sigma-model embedding method aimed to study the topology of SU(2) gauge fields. The HP1 based topological charge is shown to be fairly compatible with various known definitions. We study the corresponding topological susceptibility and estimate its value in the continuum limit. The geometrical clarity of HP1 approach allows to investigate non-perturbative aspects of SU(2) gauge theory on qualitatively new level. In particular, we obtain numerically precise estimation of gluon condensate and its leading quadratic correction. Furthermore, we present clear evidences that the string tension is to be associated with global (percolating) regions of sign-coherent topological charge. As a byproduct of our analysis we estimate the continuum value of quenched chiral condensate and the dimensionality of regions, which localize the lowest eigenmodes of overlap Dirac operator.Comment: 22 pages, 18 ps figures, revtex4. The cryptocurrency market is rapidly gaining momentum and is becoming an alternative financial platform to the traditional financial trading market. Currently, cryptocurrency is of particular interest to criminals to make illegal profits, such as money laundering, terrorist financing, financing the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, corruption. The main purpose of the study is to identify information signs that indicate the implementation of illegal financial transactions using cryptocurrencies. Empirical (observation, description) and theoretical (grouping, synthesis, abstraction) research methods were used for this research. According to the results of the study, it is established that the signs of illegal transactions with cryptocurrency are: non-transparent cryptocurrency contracts; encrypted cryptocurrency transactions; impersonal transactions; fragmented systematic transactions into marginal, limited amounts to avoid identification; transactions that do not comply with the approved transaction protocols; currency exchange transactions by unidentified traders; confusing cryptocurrency to other forms of electronic funds in order to withdraw such funds in cash. The authors of the article identify the main agents in the cryptocurrency economy (centralized and decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, token issuers, distribution services, gaming services, cryptocurrency wallets). The paper describes software products for the identification of illegal cryptocurrency transactions. The results of the study are of practical value to national regulators in strengthening financial stability and combating illegal financial transactions. management of financial institutions to improve the system of counteraction to illegal financial transactions using payment cards, namely the creation of separate bodies for analysis and regulation of fraud in the banking sector, strengthening responsibility for fraud at the legislative level, establishing a single authentication standard for customers, development of open banking
