    Modern Museum Communications as a Means of Visitors Attracting

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the websites of museums in Russia in the European context. The Fine Arts museums in five regional centers of Russia and European Union, namely, in France, Germany, Poland, Croatia, and Lithuania were chosen for the assessment of their websites by four criteria: design, content, usability, and dynamism. A rating of the target Russian museum websites was compiled based on a comparative analysis of their compliance with these criteria. The findings allow concluding that some of the web resources of Russian regional museums meet the European standards, which let them powerfully join the modern virtual space and win both Russian and foreign audiences. The scienсe-based approach to a single virtual cultural space, which is currently on the focus of the museum institutions, supports the assumption of the museum websites to be a potent tool for the art communication with society. The practical value of the study is determined by possible uses of the results in streamlining and upgrading the museum sites, as well as in courses and training programs on museology, management, and marketing of social and cultural activities

    The rs738409 (I148M) Variant of the PNPLA3 Gene and Type 2 Diabetes in Yakutia

    The purpose of our research was to study the association of the PNPLA3 SNP rs738409 (C>G) with type 2 diabetes (T2D) in the Yakuts. The frequency distribution of alleles and genotypes of the PNPLA3 rs738409 SNP was in accordance with HWE. There were no statistically significant differences in the distribution of alleles and genotypes of the PNPLA3 SNP rs738409 (C>G) between T2D patients and non-T2D patients (P>0.05); the G allele and homozygous GG genotype prevailed in both groups. In T2D patients, a high frequency of the G allele (74.1%) was found, with a predominance of the GG genotype (58.5%). We also found that the mutant allele frequency is higher than in the studied populations of the world. Further studies with larger sample size are required to achieve sufficient statistical power to detect the association of the PNPLA3 SNP (rs738409 with the development of T2D in Yakut patients

    Collaborative Mobile Learning with Smartphones in Higher Education

    The advantages of mobile learning and the possibility of universal access to educational materials have a downside in the form of a possible lack of communication between the student, his/her teachers, and course mates. In this context, collaborative teaching methods can be applied to support learners in solving educational challenges. The objective of this work was to analyze the effectiveness of collaborative approaches in mobile learning. The research methods included two stages: an experiment on the introduction of collaborative mobile learning into the educational process and an online sociological survey. The use of the questionnaire method resulted from the need to collect quantitative data and analyze the effectiveness of training by determining the shares of respondents with positive and negative opinions toward m-learning. The examination was conducted in 2020 among 190 undergraduate sociology students studying at three universities of the Russian Federation (Moscow State Pedagogical University, M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University, and Tyumen State University), as well as among 76 undergraduate students of the direction "Education" studying at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University. The main practical result of this experiment was the introduction of mobile technologies in the previously used e-learning models and learning management systems of the considered educational institutions. The collaborative mobile environment was based on the principles of communication and cooperation of users, mutual learning, and teacher coordination of students' actions. The study confirmed that collaborative mobile learning could be flexibly transited from blended to distance learning models and vice versa. The analysis of the survey outcomes proved the validity of eight proposed hypotheses, both in terms of mobile learning impact on the quality of education and the influence of the collaborative environment on the development of students' competencies. The practical significance of research findings is in the fact that they allow the effective implementation of collaborative mobile learning technologies to form students' professional competencies.</p

    The Role of Social Networks in the Organization of the Educational Process and Learning

    The objectives of the study are to conduct a survey among students and teachers of Russian universities, which will determine their general attitude to the use of social networks in education; to identify the functions of social networks from the perspective of respondents; based on the results of both stages of the study, to determine the role of social networks in the educational process. Students and teachers of four Russian universities (MGIMO University, Kuban State Technological University, North-Eastern Federal University, Russian State Social University) took part in the survey. A total of 500 students and 100 teachers were interviewed. The results of the first part of the study showed that the attitude of students and teachers towards the use of social networks in education is generally positive. Both groups of respondents noted the advantages of introducing social networks into the educational process and also stated their willingness to increase their use. When using social networks in education, students can fill in special forms to indicate social network accounts to be subsequently used. Also, the administration of group chats can be taken under the control of the university for the purpose of a more structured exchange of information/educational materials

    An Efficient Supply Chain Management Model: The Analysis of Domestic and International Practices

    Abstract— The study discusses the challenge of providing an effective supply chain management model that would meet modern requirements. The purpose of the study is to analyze the theoretical and practical aspects of developing business processes of supply chain management, as well as to substantiate an efficient business logistics management model. The survey revealed that supply chain management is carried out in a highly competitive environment while business owners are in very difficult conditions: on the one hand, customer requirements are being expanded and diversified, and on the other hand, global logistics market entry requires better service and price cuts. It has been concluded that it is feasible to outsource IT logistics processes due to the global tendency to complicate supply chain management, the introduction of information technologies, increasing customer requirements, and major business processes within the supply chain. This is reflected through an increase in investment / demand in the IT industry, an increase in the number of providers, an increase in equipment, a shortage of specialists, etc. The trend observed in our country is consistent with the ones of developed economies. An algorithm for the implementation of the supply chain formation mechanism has been developed

    Effect of Heterocyclic Ring on LnIII Coordination, Luminescence and Extraction of Diamides of 2,2′-Bipyridyl-6,6′-Dicarboxylic Acid

    We have synthesized and examined several complexes of lanthanides with diamides of 2,2&prime;-bipyridyl-6,6&prime;-dicarboxylic acid bearing various hetaryl-based side chains for the elucidation of the effect of the heterocycle on the structure and properties of the ligands. The multigram scale methods for the preparation of various N-alkyl-hetaryls and their diamides were developed. The solid state structure of 6-methyl-2-pyridylamide of 2,2&prime;-bipyridyl-6,6&prime;-dicarboxylic acid possesses a flat structure where the conformation is completely different from that previously observed for N-alkylated 2,2&prime;-bipyridyl-6,6&prime;-dicarboxamides and 2,6-pyridinedicarboxamides. The complexes of new ligands were synthesized and NMR and X-Ray studied their structure in solution and solid state. The results demonstrate that complexes possess the same structures both in solid state and in solution. Stability constants of the complexes were less when comparing with dimethyl-substituted diamides, but higher than for unsubstituted dianilide. Contrarily, the extraction ability of 2-pyridyl-diamide is significantly lower than for corresponding anilide. Specific interaction of extractant with solvent molecules, which is not available for electron-sink pyridine amides, can explain this. The luminescence of new Eu complexes was significantly higher than for all previously 2,2&prime;-bipyridyl-6,6&prime;-dicarboxamides and QY reaches 18%. Asymmetry ratios of Eu complexes were 25% higher when compared other complexes with 2,2&prime;-bipyridyl-6,6&prime;-dicarboxamides, which indicates large deviation from the inversion center
