A model for assembly sequence planning in a multirobot environment

    Get PDF
2002 IFAC15th Triennial World Congress, Barcelona, SpainThis paper presents a model for the selection of optimal assembly sequences for a product in multirobot systems. The objective of the plan is the minimization of the total assembly time (makespan). To meet this objective, the model takes into account, in addition to the assembly times and resources for each task, the times needed to change tools in the robots, and the delays due to the transportation of intermediate subassemblies between different machines. An A* algorithm that solves the problem is also presented, which starts from the And/Or graph for the product (compressed representation of all feasible assembly plans)

Flavour-symmetric type-II Dirac neutrino seesaw mechanism

We propose a Standard Model extension with underlying A4 flavour symmetry where small Dirac neutrino masses arise from a Type-II seesaw mechanism. The model predicts the "golden" flavour-dependent bottom-tau mass relation, requires an inverted neutrino mass ordering and non-maximal atmospheric mixing angle. Using the latest neutrino oscillation global fit we derive restrictions on the oscillation parameters, such as a correlation between Dirac CP phase and the lightest neutrino mass.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figure

Combining Heuristics in Assembly Sequence Planning

    Get PDF
Assembly Sequence Planning is tackled by modelling and solving a planning problem that considers the execution of the plan in a system with multiple assembly machines. The objective of the plan is the minimization of the total assembly time (makespan). To meet this objective, the model takes into account the durations and resources for the assembly tasks, the change of configuration in the machines, and the transportation of intermediate subassemblies between different workstations. In order to solve the problem, different heuristics has been defined from two relaxed model of it, one considering only the precedence constraints among tasks, and the other one considering only the use of shared resources. From these basic heuristics, other ones have been defined, combining both types of information from the problem, so that the refinement produces substantial improvements over the initial heuristics.Ministerio de Ciencia y TecnologíaDPI2003-07146-C02-0

Using Genetic Algorithms with Variable-length Individuals for Planning Two-Manipulators Motion

    Get PDF
International Conference on Artificial Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms. 01/01/1997. NorwichA method based on genetic algorithms for obtaining coordinated motion plans of manipulator robots is presented. A decoupled planning approach has been used; that is, the problem has been decomposed into two subproblems: path planning and trajectory planning. This paper focuses on the second problem. The generated plans minimize the total motion time of the robots along their paths. The optimization problem is solved by evolutionary algorithms using a variable-length individuals codification and specific genetic operators

To know the prevalence and clinical characteristics of Hyperemesis Gravidarum in pregnant women of the first trimester Hospital II-1 Jorge Reátegui Delgado 2018. Methodology: Basic, Observational, Descriptive and Transversal-Retrospective; with secondary data collection in patients diagnosed with Hyperemesis Gravidarum in the first trimester of Hospital II-1 Hospital Hospital EsSalud Jorge Reátegui Delgado Piura 2018. Results: We found a total of 39 cases of Gravid Hyperemesis during the year 2018; of which 11 of them (28.20%) were found in pregnant women from 18 to 20 years of age, being the age group with the highest number of cases, in terms of presenting a family history (First Grade Relatives: Mother, Sister , Premiums) 5 pregnant women expressed whether to know about it (12.82%). Among the 39 cases we found that Nausea and Vomiting were found more frequently in 26 of the patients (66.7%); Following this we have patients who report feeling lethargic (19 cases / 48.7%), finally a total prevalence of 2.18 was obtained. Conclusions: The prevalence of Hyperemesis Gravidarum in pregnant women during the first trimester in Hospital II-1 Jorge Reátegui Delgado was 2.18.Tesi
