ProuÄavanje H ā ZZ ā 4ā Ā± pomoÄu cjelovite geant simulacije detektora CMS
We study the detection of H ā ZZ ā 4ā Ā± in the CMS detector at the nominal LHC energy ā s = 14 TeV and the possibility for an early detection at a reduced energy ā s = 10 TeV. A systematic study of the multiālepton mass resolution is performed, including effects of internal and external radiation through detailed GEANT simulations. At ā s = 14 TeV, an integrated luminosity of 104 pbā1 allows exploration at a ā„ 5Ļ significance level a mass range from mH ā 2mZ up to mH ā 400 GeV. For 105 pbā1 , the mass reach is about 650 GeV. At ā s = 10 TeV, an integrated luminosity of 104 pbā1 does not provide a 5Ļ significance level for any value of Higgs mass, and 2 Ć 104 pbā1 alows one to explore a mass range from mH ā 2mZ to ā 350 GeV at ā„ 5Ļ level.ProuÄava se detekcija H ā ZZ ā 4ā Ā± procesa u detektoru CMS na nominalnoj energiji LHC ā s = 14 TeV i moguÄnost ranijeg opažanja na manjoj energiji od 10 TeV.
