The results likewise revealed that the significant factors associated with one\u27s partcipation in community development projects are age, educational attainment, employment status, monthly income, focus, funding source, and reasons for participation. Age has a significant association with one\u27s participation in planning and monitoring. It is more likely that older adults tend to participate more than the younger members of the community. Individuals with higher educational attainment have the skills and knowledge necessary in the decision-making process of development projects- hence they were more involved. The focus and funding source have a significant association with community participation in the areas of pre-implementation, planning, monitoring, evaluation, and role in the project. The significant factors in relation to the level of active citizenship are planning, evaluation, and role in the project.
