Concilier loisirs et carrière : modèles et outils pour intervenir auprès des jeunes artistes et sportif.ves.s.

The emphasis on leisure in western societies questions the relationship between these activities and the career choice of adolescents. This article provides a model for conceptualizing the strategies for conciliating art and sport leisure with career that identifies four different profiles: determined, hedonists, pragmatics and proactive. Most appropriate career counseling interventions for each profile are presented. Particular attention is paid to the method of motivational interviewing (Miller & Rollnick, 2013) and to the identification of transferable skills. The links with the preparation strategies for career transitions is discussed
