Clean milk
No full textIt may seem to some that an explanation should be made
in bringing this subject of Clean Milk before -the members of
this Society. It is, however, in my opinion, a subject well
worthy of discussion, for surely the health of the people is a
matter for social inquiry, and I hope to show that the provision
of clean milk is of the highest importance from the stand point
of health. While milk is a useful but not indispensable article
of diet with adults, it is an absolute necessity to infants and
young children. Since the cow is, in Ireland, the chief source
of our milk, it is with the dangers and difficulties of the use
of cow\u27s milk that I am chiefly concerned
