    Development of a blocking logic checking apparatus for substation measurement and control devices

    After transforming substation measurement and control devices, the traditional method of blocking logic check needs to go back and forth among the measurement and control devices, and repeatedly connect a large number of wires, which lead to tedious operation and low efficiency. This paper developed a logic verification device based on 4G wireless communication, which used the Modbus/TCP transport protocol to access Ethernet, to complete the real-time data communication with the mobile control terminal. And this paper made a request to the logic controller according to practicality and cost. And the terminal software interface was designed by the orthogonal experimental design idea. The development of this device provided a new and efficient method for logic verification

    Information fusion of distribution network automation and digital substation automation can improve the efficient use of the digital substation’s distribution network data and strengthen the distribution network. The scheme adds a distribution network area controller for information interaction and integrally models distribution network and digital substation equipment based on the IEC 61850 protocol. This paper details the information fusion scheme of regional distribution network and substation automation system as well as the main function of the controller. The case study demonstrates that the fusion strategy can make the information collection more direct and the fault elimination more intelligent when dealing with the defects and faults of the distribution network

    Electronic current transformer acquisition unit was installed outdoors and near the circuit breaker. The poor environments, including high common mode voltage, electromagnetic interference and other factors were a serious of disadvantages impacts on the acquisition unit. The paper introduced the parameter characteristics and functions of Rogowski coil, the differential amplifier chip AD8479, and filter circuit in detail. The application circuit was designed based on proper parameters. Lastly, the interference was inhibited effectively, and the electronic current transformer acquisition unit run more reliably resulted from theoretical analysis and field test

    Development of A Maintenance Device for Bus-bar PT Voltage Air Switch

    When PT breaks down, it takes long time of switching operation before maintenance, which seriously delays the restoration time. Based on the principle of multiple circuit, a live replacement maintenance device for PT voltage air switch is proposed. The following aspects are involved in the design of the device: the principle of device, component selection, device’s assembly and operation process. Through functional test in simulation substation and on-site installation, it is proved that the failed air switch can be lively replaced by the device without switching operation, which greatly reduces the risk on power grid caused by such faulted air switch
