Finite Temperature Phase Diagram in Rotating Bosonic Optical Lattice
Finite temperature phase boundary between superfluid phase and normal state
is analytically derived by studying the stability of normal state in rotating
bosonic optical lattice. We also prove that the oscillation behavior of
critical hopping matrix directly follows the upper boundary of Hofstadter

SJTU-AISPEECH System for VoxCeleb Speaker Recognition Challenge 2022
This report describes the SJTU-AISPEECH system for the Voxceleb Speaker
Recognition Challenge 2022. For track1, we implemented two kinds of systems,
the online system and the offline system. Different ResNet-based backbones and
loss functions are explored. Our final fusion system achieved 3rd place in
track1. For track3, we implemented statistic adaptation and jointly training
based domain adaptation. In the jointly training based domain adaptation, we
jointly trained the source and target domain dataset with different training
objectives to do the domain adaptation. We explored two different training
objectives for target domain data, self-supervised learning based angular
proto-typical loss and semi-supervised learning based classification loss with
estimated pseudo labels. Besides, we used the dynamic loss-gate and label
correction (DLG-LC) strategy to improve the quality of pseudo labels when the
target domain objective is a classification loss. Our final fusion system
achieved 4th place (very close to 3rd place, relatively less than 1%) in

Build a SRE Challenge System: Lessons from VoxSRC 2022 and CNSRC 2022
Different speaker recognition challenges have been held to assess the speaker
verification system in the wild and probe the performance limit. Voxceleb
Speaker Recognition Challenge (VoxSRC), based on the voxceleb, is the most
popular. Besides, another challenge called CN-Celeb Speaker Recognition
Challenge (CNSRC) is also held this year, which is based on the Chinese
celebrity multi-genre dataset CN-Celeb. This year, our team participated in
both speaker verification closed tracks in CNSRC 2022 and VoxSRC 2022, and
achieved the 1st place and 3rd place respectively. In most system reports, the
authors usually only provide a description of their systems but lack an
effective analysis of their methods. In this paper, we will outline how to
build a strong speaker verification challenge system and give a detailed
analysis of each method compared with some other popular technical means
Chinese herbal injections in combination with radiotherapy for advanced pancreatic cancer: A systematic review and network meta-analysis.
Advanced pancreatic cancer (APC) is a fatal disease with limited treatment options. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different Chinese herbal injections (CHIs) as adjuvants for radiotherapy (RT) in APC and compare their treatment potentials using network meta-analysis. We systematically searched three English and four Chinese databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) from inception to July 25, 2023. The primary outcome was the objective response rate (ORR). Secondary outcomes included Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score, overall survival (OS), and adverse events (AEs). The treatment potentials of different CHIs were ranked using the surface under the cumulative ranking curve (SUCRA). The Cochrane RoB 2 tool and CINeMA were used for quality assessment and evidence grading. Eighteen RCTs involving 1199 patients were included. Five CHIs were evaluated. Compound Kushen injection (CKI) combined with RT significantly improved ORR compared to RT alone (RR 1.49, 95 % CrI 1.21-1.86). Kanglaite (KLT) plus RT (RR 1.58, 95 % CrI 1.20-2.16) and CKI plus RT (RR 1.49, 95 % CrI 1.16-1.95) were associated with improved KPS score compared to radiation monotherapy, with KLT+RT being the highest rank (SUCRA 72.28 %). Regarding AEs, CKI plus RT was the most favorable in reducing the incidence of leukopenia (SUCRA 90.37 %) and nausea/vomiting (SUCRA 85.79 %). CKI may be the optimal choice of CHIs to combine with RT for APC as it may improve clinical response, quality of life, and reduce AEs. Risk Factors and Medico-Economic Effect of Pancreatic Fistula after Pancreaticoduodenectomy
The study aimed to uncover the risk factors for the new defined pancreatic fistula (PF) and clinical related PF (CR-PF) after pancreaticoduodenectomy (PD) surgery and to evaluate the medico-economic effect of patients. A total of 412 patients were classified into two groups according to different criteria, PF and NOPF according to PF occurrence: CR-PF (grades B and C) and NOCR-PF (grade A) based on PF severity. A total of 28 factors were evaluated by univariate and multivariate logistic regression test. Hospital charges and stays of these patients were assessed. The results showed that more hospital stages and charges are needed for patients in PF and CR-PF groups than in NOPF and NOCR-PF groups (P<0.05). The excessive drinking, soft remnant pancreas, preoperative albumin, and intraoperative blood transfusion are risk factors affecting both PF and CR-PF incidence. More professional surgeons can effectively reduce the PF and CR-PF incidence. Patients with PF and CR-PF need more hospital costs and stages than that in NOPF and NOCR-PF groups. It is critical that surgeons know the risk factors related to PF and CR-PF so as to take corresponding therapeutic regimens for each patient
Autologous Skin Fibroblast-Based PLGA Nanoparticles for Treating Multiorgan Fibrosis
Fibrotic diseases remain a substantial health burden with few therapeutic approaches. A hallmark of fibrosis is the aberrant activation and accumulation of myofibroblasts, which is caused by excessive profibrotic cytokines. Conventional anticytokine therapies fail to undergo clinical trials, as simply blocking a single or several antifibrotic cytokines cannot abrogate the profibrotic microenvironment. Here, biomimetic nanoparticles based on autologous skin fibroblasts are customized as decoys to neutralize multiple fibroblast-targeted cytokines. By fusing the skin fibroblast membrane onto poly(lactic-co-glycolic) acid cores, these nanoparticles, termed fibroblast membrane-camouflaged nanoparticles (FNPs), are shown to effectively scavenge various profibrotic cytokines, including transforming growth factor-beta, interleukin (IL)-11, IL-13, and IL-17, thereby modulating the profibrotic microenvironment. FNPs are sequentially prepared into multiple formulations for different administration routines. As a proof-of-concept, in three independent animal models with various organ fibrosis (lung fibrosis, liver fibrosis, and heart fibrosis), FNPs effectively reduce the accumulation of myofibroblasts, and the formation of fibrotic tissue, concomitantly restoring organ function and indicating that FNPs are a potential broad-spectrum therapy for fibrosis management.Peer reviewe
A comprehensive survey of the analytical, numerical and experimental methodologies for dynamics of multibody mechanical systems with clearance or imperfect joints
"Available online 19 December 2017"A comprehensive survey of the literature of the most relevant analytical, numerical, and experimental approaches for the kinematic and dynamic analyses of multibody mechanical systems with clearance joints is presented in this review. Both dry and lubricated clearance joints are addressed here, and an effort is made to include a large number of research works in this particular field, which have been published since the 1960′s. First, the most frequently utilized methods for modeling planar and spatial multibody mechanical systems with clearance joints are analyzed, and compared. Other important phenomena commonly associated with clearance joint models, such as wear, non-smooth behavior, optimization and control, chaos, and uncertainty and links’ flexibility, are then discussed. The main assumptions procedures and conclusions for the different methodologies are also examined and compared.
