VOICE: A communication skills training intervention using conversation analysis and simulated interaction

This manual describes the process of developing simulation training to be used in a communication skills training course. The underpinning principle is the use of conversation analysis to enhance simulated interactions. The training uses scenarios based on video data of actual interactions along with transcripts that have been closely examined.
