Theoretical and practical issues of improving the quality of operational management of production processes through the implementation of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) are considered. To assess the risk of introduction of systems of this class, a basic set of seven influencing factors is defined. The qualitative approach to risk assessment proposes using two ordinal scales, on the basis of which the matrix for estimating the probability of occurrence of risk factors and the degree of their negative impact is built. The quantitative approach to risk assessment proposes using the formula for calculating the integral risk factor. The choice of the matrix organizational structure of management is justified in the realization of projects for implementation of MES at the enterprises with the innovative nature of production. Typical functional subsystems of MES implemented on the SIMATIC IT platform are identified and analyzed. Original express methods for evaluating the economic efficiency of investment projects for the introduction of MES are proposed. Practical testing of methodology is carried out through the example of evaluating the economic efficiency of the project for implementation of a MES at the enterprise with an innovative nature of production. As the results, relevant for the theory of building MES, the generalized algorithms of their functioning are proposed: the algorithm of operational planning of production processes with the use of a MES and the algorithm of the interaction of model functional modules in MES. The advantages of MES of new generation, i.e. management systems of combined production, are analyzed

The article deals with issues of formalization and elaboration of business strategies. The authors have formulated a hypothesis that there is no universal strategy ensuring maxi¬mum benefit to an enterprise. The choice of a company’s strategy is considered from the point of view of a game-theoretical interpretation as a competition component. The process of engineering a company’s business strategy is presented in the form of a technological network. The study shows the possibility of automating the selection of a strategy by decision-making support systems. The article outlines the problem of classifying enterprise strategies by general features. The structure of a company’s strategy is formalized as a relationship of a set of strategic objectives in the S.M.A.R.T. technique and a set of means to achieve the goals limited by a company’s capabilities. The authors examine the indicator structure for achieving strategic goals. A definition is given to the type and form of a strategy based on the pattern concept. The article defines a methodology for assessing the probability of achieving the strategic goal. A new concept of a fluid strategy has been introduced along with several other variations of business strategies that might be encountered

Evaluation of the efficiency of industrial management in high-technology industries

International audienceThe realization of structural changes in high-technology industries requires an evaluation of the effectiveness of taken decisions. For this purpose, the paper considers the technical and economic feasibility of developing a system of indicators in industrial management, which will allow increasing the competitiveness of products. A set of indicators was developed, based on the formalization of the main characteristics and interrelation of the organizational structure, and an integral estimation of the organizational potential of high-technology enterprises was proposed. The application of such a technique in practice will give a preliminary conclusion about the nature of structural transformations. In developing the methodology, a criterion is proposed for estimating the competitiveness of a high-technology enterprise, which is based on the ratio of its potentials to actual risks. Structurally functional identification of the potentials of the processes of functional systems made it possible to reveal the features of the application of analytical models for determining the accumulated potentials in the production system. This gives the possibility for segmentation of the enterprise's competitiveness and determination of areas with different efficiency of resource consumption
