Psychological adaptation of graduating medical students of general medicine and pediatric departments to online education during self-isolation

The article presents a study of the psychological adaptation of graduating medical students of general medical and pediatric departments of USMU to on-line education in self-isolation conditions between March and December 2020. The empirical study was conducted through a content analysis of students' essays on the "Problem of Mental Health in the Modern World" performed as part of the cycle "Psychiatry, Medical Psychology". The 87 essays have analyzed, among them by 63 students of the 5th course of General medicine Department and by 24 students of the 5th year of the Pediatric Department. The contents of these essays are devoted to the discussion of distance medical education and on-line training sessions at the final stage of vocational training. The results show the connection of psychological adaptation of students to the new conditions of the educational process with the professional identity of the individual, the level of formation of professional self-awareness of the doctor and strategies of self-regulation of purposeful educational activitiesВ статье представлено исследование вопросов психологической адаптации студентов старших курсов лечебно-профилактического и педиатрического факультетов УГМУ к on-line обучению в условиях самоизоляции в период с марта по декабрь 2020 г. Эмпирическое исследование проводилась методом контент-анализа эссе студентов на тему «Проблема психического здоровья в современном мире», выполненного в рамках цикла «Психиатрия, медицинская психология». Всего проанализировано 87 эссе, выполненных 63-мя студентами 5 курса лечебно-профилактического факультета и 24-мя студентами 5 курса педиатрического факультета. Содержание данных эссе посвящено обсуждению дистанционного медицинского образования и учебных занятий on-line на завершающем этапе профессионального обучения. Полученные результаты свидетельствуют о связанности психологической адаптации студентов к новым условиям учебного процесса с профессиональной идентичностью личности, уровнем сформированности профессионального самосознания врача и стратегиями саморегуляции целенаправленной учебной деятельност

Formation of personality pathology in servicemen participating in local warfare and military conflicts at time of peace

Studies of the specifics of conditions and mechanisms of formation of personality pathology in servicemen participating in local warfare and military conflicts at the time of peace are based on the material of modern transformations of traditional military discourse, social psychological and personality estimations of “victory" and "defeat" in military campaigns. In particular, a pathological loss of temporal perspective and real time, psychotization of behavior in personal and family relations can be assessed as manifestation of personality pathology of Afghanistan and Chechnya veterans whose terms of service ended from 10 to 20 years ago.На материале современных трансформаций традиционного военного дискурса, социально-психологической и личностной оценки «победы» и «поражения» в военных кампаниях, исследуется специфика условий и механизмы формирования личностной патологии у военнослужащих, участвующих в локальных войнах и боевых конфликтах в мирное время. Psychological aspects of early surgery in cases of congenital facial and jaw pathology

The paper discusses the influence of early surgery in conditions of congenital craniofacial anomalies on the formation of the personal qualities of a child that are necessary for normal communication, on the development of relations with the mother, on the formation of the communicative behavior mechanism in childhood and in the teens. The authors show that, together with the solution of medical problems (elimination of defects in the development of the mouth cavity and teeth, chronic ear infections, etc.), that provide the necessary basis for normal speech communication, operations at an early age have as their aim the development of communicative activity, emotional reactivity in communication, and communicative confidence as the grounds for the social adaptation of the personality of the child. However, the temporary aspect of surgery is analyzed in terms of preventing behavioral disturbances and educational difficulties in children of this group in connection with the parents' necessity to overcome their feeling of guilt or their excessive parental care, as well as stigmatization in the society of children with ua non-standard appearance” that is aggravated by speech defects.В статье обсуждается влияние раннего хирургического вмешательства при тяжелой врожденной челюстно-лицевой патологии на формирование качеств личности ребенка, необходимых для осуществления полноценной коммуникации, на развитие взаимоотношений в диалоге с матерью, на становление механизмов коммуникативного поведения в детстве и подростничестве. The influence of the age on the manifistation of symptoms of orthorexia nervosa and body image perception

The article is devoted to the study of the effect of age on the manifestation of symptoms of nervous orthorexia and perception of the image of one's own body. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of age on the manifestation of symptoms of nervous orthorexia and perception of body image. A cross-sectional study was carried out. The sample consisted of 30 females represented by three age groups: students of the 11th grade of the gymnasium, students of the 5th year of medical school, employees of the state institution. Predictors of secondary alexithimia in patients haemodialyzed

Secondary alexithymia in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing renal replacement therapy programme in haemodialysis is discussed because of the risk of complications and the possibility to achieve an effect from treatment. Conducted by clinical-psychological study of 40 patients 20 men and 20 women) aged from 28 to 60 years (mean age 40,7±13) with a haemodialysis treatment from 2 to 15 years (the average period of 25.6 ±18.2 months) revealed the following. Formation of secondary alexithymia in patients with CRD is caused by personality-semantic violations, emotional exhaustion and depressive symptoms. Indicated by the direction of the psychological correction and psychotherapy.Вторичная алекситимия у пациентов с хронической почечной недостаточностью, находящихся на заместительной почечной терапии программным гемодиализом рассматривается в связи с риском осложнений и возможностью достижения эффекта от лечения. Проведенное клинико-психологическое исследование 40 пациентов (20 мужчин и 20 женщин) в возрасте от 28 до 60 лет (средний возраст 40,7±13) со сроком лечения гемодиализом от 2-х до 15 лет (средний период 25,6±18,2 месяца), показало следующее. Формирование вторичной алекситимии у пациентов с ХПН обусловлено личностно-смысловой дефицитарностью, эмоциональным истощением и депрессивными симптомами. Обозначено направление психологической коррекции и психотерапии
