Research of Gravitation in Flat Minkowski Space
In this paper it is introduced and studied an alternative theory of
gravitation in flat Minkowski space. Using an antisymmetric tensor, which is
analogous to the tensor of electromagnetic field, a non-linear connection is
introduced. It is very convenient for studying the perihelion/periastron shift,
deflection of the light rays near the Sun and the frame dragging together with
geodetic precession, i.e. effects where angles are involved. Although the
corresponding results are obtained in rather different way, they are the same
as in the General Relativity. The results about the barycenter of two bodies
are also the same as in the General Relativity. Comparing the derived equations
of motion for the -body problem with the Einstein-Infeld-Hoffmann equations,
it is found that they differ from the EIH equations by Lorentz invariant terms
of order .Comment: 28 page
CLASSIFICATION OF UNDERWATER SEDIMENTS USING ACOUSTIC SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD
Acoustic reflected signals are the most acceptable technology which carries the information of the underwater objects based on frequency, amplitude. The reflected echo carries information about the material characteristics based on absorption, reflection and refraction. In this paper a computer simulation program is developed to classify the underwatersedimentsbased on the acoustic reflected signals. This computer simulation program also realizes the mechanism ofacoustic signal propagating through the underwater layer media accounting for attenuation effect
Numerical modelling and analytical comparison of delamination during cryogenic drilling of cfrp
Carbon-Fibre-Reinforced Polymers (CFRPs) have seen a steady rise in modern industrial applications due to their high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. However, their potential is being hindered by delamination which is induced on them during machining operations. This has led to the adoption of new and innovative techniques like cryogenic-assisted machining which could potentially help reduce delamination. This study is aimed at investigating the effect of cryogenic conditions on achieving better hole quality with reduced delamination. In this paper, the numerical analysis of the drilling of CFRP composites is presented. Drilling tests were performed experimentally for validation purposes. The effects of cooling conditions and their subsequent effect on the thrust force and delamination were evaluated using ABAQUS/CAE. The numerical models and experimental results both demonstrated a significant reduction in the delamination factor in CFRP under cryogenic drilling conditions
