Digit patterning during limb development as a result of the BMP-receptor interaction

    Get PDF
Turing models have been proposed to explain the emergence of digits during limb development. However, so far the molecular components that would give rise to Turing patterns are elusive. We have recently shown that a particular type of receptor-ligand interaction can give rise to Schnakenberg-type Turing patterns, which reproduce patterning during lung and kidney branching morphogenesis. Recent knock-out experiments have identified Smad4 as a key protein in digit patterning. We show here that the BMP-receptor interaction meets the conditions for a Schnakenberg-type Turing pattern, and that the resulting model reproduces available wildtype and mutant data on the expression patterns of BMP, its receptor, and Fgfs in the apical ectodermal ridge (AER) when solved on a realistic 2D domain that we extracted from limb bud images of E11.5 mouse embryos. We propose that receptor-ligand-based mechanisms serve as a molecular basis for the emergence of Turing patterns in many developing tissues

One of the most important concerns of a management or manager is to motivate people to make their optimum contribution to the achievement of organizational goals. Therefore, it becomes important for him to understand what motivates people to behave as they do. Some human behaviour is random and consist of emotions and reflexes, most of it is goal directed in the sense that it is aimed at the satisfaction of some need. Since the needs of the employees and the organisation are not always the same, the manager can better integrate these two sets of needs by gaining an insight into the needs of his employees and then channelise them in the direction of organizational needs. The present paper is an attempt in this direction intended to examine the “Motivation level of employees in small scale industries”. Frame gauges over the past few years indicate that both modest and severe earthquakes can cause a lot of problems, which are much larger than expected. One solution to reduce the seismic response of tires is to use tuned block dampers (TMDs. In this research study, the discrepancy between uncontrolled and uncontrolled attitudes was examined. The results of the 8-deck shear structure under specific logs show that strong tuned block dampers have great effectiveness in architectural differential response, in contrast to easy-to-adjust mass dampers despite the high setup cost. Current models on the construction market require taller and lighter tires, are more adaptable and are somewhat worthy of moisture. Among the many readily available strategies for controlling resonance, many strategies are now introduced in one day to reduce frame resonance; the idea of using TMD is fairly recent. This research was performed to test the performance of using TMD for frame echo performance. Sports enthusiasm for research is made within the framework of the work with and without TMD. Twelve rectangular visualized structures are taken into consideration for evaluation. Evaluation is done with FE SAP 2000 software using the direct integration method. Various mechanisms are considered to increase moisture across most structures in order to increase the frame's damping capacity. Architectural resonance induced by an earthquake or wind can be controlled through a variety of methods, such as mass, dampening, stiffness, or shape, and by giving both strong or soft stresses. This paper attempts to identify the experience of the comprehensive controlled damper in architectural systems and their applications in seismic design. Study work done by many scholars and their judgments have been carefully verified

This paper examines the effect of E-microfinance on economic growth in India. Emphasis is made on the Major role of microfinance institutions in India which is poverty reduction. Assets, Deposit Liabilities, Loans & advances microfinance banks were used the activities of microfinance institutions in India while Gross Domestic Product was used as for economic growth. The importance of Electronic Microfinance Institutions in India economy cannot be over emphasized; this is because it plays a vital role in the financial intermediate on process and also in the lives of the low income earners whom constitute over 70 per cent of the Indian population. Employment and income generation are important of poverty alleviation effort, building capacities for wealth creation among enterprising poor people and promoting sustainable, Agriculture and microenterprise, Rural people are empowered through Electronic microfinance loans and services, and hence small scale agricultural practice and microenterprise is developed. Electronic Microfinance is an intervention based on Social Intermediation in which poor people can mobilize their savings, link it with credit and finally become self-employed. It results in building social capital. This study is based on existing literature Review and some of the has been collected from Nabard annual Reports, progress status of Microfinance of each state and RBI reports etc. Although, the Indian Government has launched several subsidized microfinance programme for the benefit of the very poor section of the society and the cooperatives weaker section of the society could not be turned around. Of late, electronic microfinance has emerged as a Catalyst of rural social development, especially in the overpopulated country like India. The impact of micro finance programme especially through Self Help Groups has been effective in making positive social change to all members, irrespective of the direct borrowers of the micro credit. Microfinance institutions (MFIs) in India exist as NGOs, Section 25 companies and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs). Commercial Banks, Regional Rural Banks (RRBs), cooperative societies and other large lenders have played an important role in providing refinance facility to electronic MFIs. With financial inclusion emerging as a major policy objective in the country, Microfinance has been found to be playing a vital role for extending financial services to unbanked sections of population. The electronic microfinance services of microfinance not only uplifted the poor from income poverty but it also from the knowledge level of poverty. Hence, easily accessible and affordable “e-microfinance services “should be provided to the vulnerable poor who are excluded socially and economically for a long journey period of time. The Indian state of electronic microfinance industry has grown over the decade across with specific key indicators of microfinance (i.e. Outreach, loan, and savings etc., the number of electronic microfinance active borrowers increased Current Research Paper of the Electronic microfinance institutions. A review of past literature was conducted and it was found that the Electronic Microfinance of data flow and security, access to credit Through Electronic Microfinance, as well as cost were restricting the microfinance institutions from properly adopting Electronic technology into their operations of Electronics Microfinance of lending and borrowing of money. Hence, proper structuring of both core and additional system of technology had been proposed through the implementation of Electronic Technology, Electronic technology and also process automation technology. Hence, proper structuring of both the core and additional systems of technology has been Implemented through the implementation of the Electronic Microfinance Management Information System, Electronic technology Based Microfinance, as well as process automated technology Based Microfinance. Although the findings reveal that the loopholes Caused by the various problems Electronic microfinance operations could be solved with the recent advancement of technology, many microfinance institutions are avoiding the implemented of technology due to the realization of the high cost and lack of major participation from clients, which, in turn, affects the demand and supply in the electronic microfinance market of india. The advancement of E-Microfinance, can be solved with the introduction of systems to adequately synchronize the data Statistics Mathematical management of the microfinance institutions so that hence, the Major objective of Electronic microfinance institutions to help improve the lives of the poor in developing countries would be greatly achieved. Full text link
An automated sizing approach for analog circuits using evolutionary algorithms is presented in this paper. A targeted search of the search space has been implemented using a particle generation function and a repair-bounds function that has resulted in faster convergence to the optimal solution. The algorithms are tuned and modified to converge to a better optimal solution with less standard deviation for multiple runs compared to standard versions. Modified versions of the artificial bee colony optimisation algorithm, genetic algorithm, grey wolf optimisation algorithm, and particle swarm optimisation algorithm are tested and compared for the optimal sizing of two operational amplifier topologies. An extensive performance evaluation of all the modified algorithms showed that the modifications have resulted in consistent performance with improved convergence for all the algorithms. The implementation of parallel computation in the algorithms has reduced run time. Among the considered algorithms, the modified artificial bee colony optimisation algorithm gave the most optimal solution with consistent results across multiple runs

Vatarakta is a Vatapradhana Tridoshaja Vyadhi where Raakt is main Dushya. It is described under Vatavyadhi Chikitsa in Sushruta while Charaka has emphasised it in a separate chapter for Vatarakta after Vatavyadhi Chikitsa. It is a chronic and complex metabolic disorder of musculoskeletal system and characterised by severe pain, tenderness, inflammation and burning sensation in the affected joints. Vatarakta is an illness where in both Vata and Rakta are afflicted by distinct causative factors. The etiology, pathology and clinical features of Gouty Arthritis are quite similar to that of Vatarakta. Rapid modernization, Junk food culture, stressful life and urbanisation are the markers for prevalence of Vatarakta. Due to excruciating pain, inflammation, joint deformity and restricted joint movements with the risk of various complications like Chronic Kidney Disease and Urate Nephrolithiasis, it is necessary to have an overall review on all aspects of disease for treatment. Because of the morbidity, chronicity, incurability and complications, the management of Vatarakta is a difficult task. Hence an attempt has been made to focus on Shamana Aushadis and Shodhana procedures recommended in different authentic texts of Ayurveda. Evaluation of efficacy and framing certain guideline protocols for the budding Pharmaceutical and Clinical Researchers as a readymade reckoner are the main aim and objectives of this review
