Occupational stratification and evaluation.

Man being born sentient is able to perceive the normative patterns which surround him in society. It is the contention of this thesis that individuals receive many common thought patterns in the process of socialization, but that their evaluation of these norms differ according to their dissimilar backgrounds. More specifically, the problem revolves around the ideas which a sample of high school pupils have about the occupational hierarchy and their evaluations of the occupations representing this hierarchy
