O PORTADOR DE DEFICIÊNCIAS NAS INSTITUIÇÕES DE ENSINO DE FOZ DO IGUAÇU – MITO OU REALIDADE

The present study had as main objective offer informations on the partner-educational situation of the carriers of deficiencies in Iguaçu education institutions. The context of the research counted on statistical information the brought up to date governmental level, searching to reflect if the process of educational inclusion in this city is occurring. The study is combined characteristics of empirical and theoretical research, being developed inthe period between 20 and 30 of November of 2004, and incorporated several educational sectors the state, municipal, private and public level. The joined results had supplied to a real panorama of the partner-educational situation of these individuals, proving the inefficacy of the educational programs offered and applied currently in our country, as well as its lowamplitude of reach to these populations.O presente estudo teve como objetivo o levantamento de informações e dadossobre a situação sócio-educacional dos portadores de deficiências nas Instituições de Ensino de Foz do Iguaçu. O contexto da pesquisa contou com dados estatísticos a nível governamental atualizado, buscando refletir como está ocorrendo o processo de inclusão educacional nesta cidade. O estudo combinou características de pesquisa empírica e teórica, sendo desenvolvido no período compreendido entre 20 e 30 de novembro de 2004, e incorporou diversos setores educacionais a nível público estadual, municipal e privado. Os resultados encontrados forneceram um panorama real da situação sócio-educacional destes indivíduos, comprovando a ineficácia dos programas educacionais oferecidos e aplicados atualmente em nosso país, assim como a sua baixa amplitude de alcance a estas populações
