    The quality of the learning process will have an influence on student learning outcomes. Electric lighting installation is a subject that is difficult for students to understand. This study aims to reveal the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model to learning outcomes in the subject of electric lighting installation at SMK. The data collection method is carried out with a literature study approach, collecting several related theories to get theoretical conclusions, then supported by secondary data of 6 references from journals about the PjBL model on the subject of electric lighting installation. This study found that the PjBL model was able to provide an increase in learning outcomes. So this PjBL model is good to be applied in learning electric lighting installation subjects in SMK. The weakness of the PjBL learning model is that when students do not have the intention or do not have the belief that the problem being studied is difficult to solve, they will feel reluctant to try it. What must be done by the teacher is that the teacher should increase supervision and attention to all students to think more creatively and be enthusiastic in participating in learning. In implementing the PjBL model, it is necessary to have the same treatment for all students so that all students have the ability to be able to improve their learning outcomes

    This study aims to analyze and describe the effectiveness of the model pembelajaran creative problem solving (CPS) assisted trainer troubleshooting on the subjects of the installation of the electric motor. Model pembelajaran CPS is a learning model that fosters thinking creativity and improves the competence of students to complete problems. Troubleshooting the installation of the electric motor using the trainer troubleshooting control of the electromagnetic (TBS KE) working system problems of the trainer using the manual switch as the circuit breaker and connecting components of the trainer. Researchers use the research method of meta-analysis and descriptive to uncover the effectiveness of the learning model. Methods of meta-analysis and descriptive method are analyzed by summing and describe the acquisition of secondary data to summarize research data. The stages of the researchers who carried out are: (1) collecting empirical data from the study of related literature, (2) calculate the value of the effect size on empirical data, (3) describe the empirical data to conclude the analysis. The results of the analysis of data processing by the calculation of the effect size model pembelajaran CPS and the use of media control of the electromagnetic to have an average of categorized big effect. The application of the model CPS fosters a students-minded creative problem-solving teacher. Learning assisted media attract the attention of students and help them understand learning. The results of the data analysis model and media showed a large effect on the application of the learning model CPS supported trainer effective as solving problems to improve the competence of students in SMK

    AbstractThis research is based on the lack of information technology which is used at SMKN 2 Tarakan, especially the use of virtual computer and video. Therefore, the learning set which adapt those technology and appropriate learning model are needed. This research develops a learning set which use virtual computer and video in the direct learning of Network Operating System Installation Subject at SMKN 2 Tarakan. This research aims to find out the quality and the effectiveness of learning set which are developed.There are four steps which are conducted. They are preliminary study, design, validation and revision, and empirical test and revision. Those step are adapted from R & D research designed by Borg and Gall. It is also adapted from 4D instructional model by Thiagarajan. The data collecting techniques used are observation, interview, documentation, review, validation, test, and non-test. The data analysis technique is descriptive analysis.The first result of the research is the quality of the learning set gets the average score 3.78. This is based on the logic scoring from the experts. The criterion of the learning set is excellent or very valuable. This scoring used the valid and reliable instruments. The score of the validity is 3.85. The criterion is excellent and its reliability coefficient is 0.92. Its criterion is almost perfect aggrement. The second result is the effectiveness of the learning set through empirical test. The learning runners score is 3.90. Its criterion is excellent. the student competencies achievement score is 3.55. Its criterion is excellent. The average score of both are 3.73 which has excellent as the criteria. Therefore, the conclusion of the research is that the learning set is very effective. The result of data analysis shows that: (1) the learning set has a very good quality because it has been validated using the logic scoring by the experts with valid and reliable instruments and (2) the use of learning set is very effective.Keywords: Learning Set, Virtual Computer, Video, Direct Learning

    This study aims to develop student worksheets of good quality and effectiveness to improve students' knowledge competencies. The student worksheet developed refers to the MORE (Model-Observe-Reflect-Explain) learning model based on Vygotsky's social constructivist theory. This development research refers to the steps developed by Thiagarajan, namely the 4-D model. Data collection techniques in this study applied interviews, observation, and tests. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The empirical test of increasing knowledge competence uses the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. Data on knowledge competency improvement were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS 1 at Moslem Senior High School (MAN). The results of this study are as follows: first, the MORE student worksheet model based on Vygotsky's social constructivist theory has a very good quality.     One of the subjects that requires high-level knowledge of vocational high school students is microprocessor and microcontroller programming techniques. The availability of facilities and the quality of the teaching and learning process impact student learning outcomes. Arduino is a teaching and learning support tool that can improve student learning outcomes in microprocessor and microcontroller programming techniques. This article aims to analyze the effect of a project-based learning using Arduino on student learning outcomes in this subject. The method used is a literature study approach by collecting several relevant theories supported by qualitative data to obtain the effect of a project-based learning with Arduino on learning outcomes in vocational high schools. The results of the analysis concluded that there was an effect of project-based learning with Arduino on improving student learning outcomes

    Untuk mencapai sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan sesuai dengan standar kompetensi, perlu adanya interaksi yang baik antara guru dan siswa. Perangkat pembelajaran merupakan hal penting dalam keterlaksanaan proses interaksi penyampaian materi oleh guru kepada siswa.Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dasar lsitrik dan elektronika menggunakan model pembelajaran orientasi masalah, definisi masalah, pengajuan hipotesis, pengujian hipotesis, dan evaluasi (OrDeP2E). Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi: (1) rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) DLE, dan (2) lembar penilaian (LP) DLE.Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah adopsi dari metode Borg & Gall. Prosedur pengembangan penelitian ini yaitu: 1) analisis perangkat pembelajaran, 2) merancang desain perangkat pembelajaran, 3) pengembangan validasi dan revisi, 4) uji produk dan revisi. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest posttest design.Hasil kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dari aspek kevalidan meliputi: (1) RPP DLE pengukuran arus sebesar 3,45 kriteria sangat layak digunakan; (3) RPP DLE pengukuran tegangan sebesar 3,5 kriteria sangat layak digunakan; (4) RPP DLE pengukuran daya dan energi sebesar 3,45 kriteria sangat layak digunakan; (5) RPP DLE pengukuran faktor daya sebesar 3,5 dengan kriteria sangat layak digunakan; (5) LP pengetahuan DLE sebesar 3,58 dengan kriteria sangat layak digunakan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat model pembelajaran OrDeP2E sangat layak digunakan dalam penelitian.Hasil kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dari aspek kepraktisan meliputi: (1) respon guru terhadap perangkat model pembelajaran OrDeP2E memperoleh respon sebesar 85,42% dengan kriteria sangat baik; (3) respon siswa terhadap perangkat model pembelajaran OrDeP2E memperoleh respon sebesar 88,19% dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil kelayakan perangkat dari aspek keefektifan meliputi: (1) kompetensi pengetahuan DLE dari uji-t dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan kompetensi pengetahuan dasar listrik dan elektronika sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pembelajaran menggunakan perangkat model pembelajaran OrDeP2E dengan kriteria tuntas nilai di atas 75.Kata Kunci: perangkat pembelajaran, OrDeP2E, respon guru, respon siswa, kompetensi pengetahuan DLE

    PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PBI DAN KONSEP DIRI TERHADAP PENCAPAIAN KOMPETENSI SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN ELEKTRONIKA DASAR DI KELAS X AV SMK NEGERI 3 SURABAYA

    Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengungkap perbedaan kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar antara siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasarkan masalah dan model pembelajaran langsung, (2) mengungkap perbedaan kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar antara siswa yang memiliki konsep diri positif dan yang memiliki konsep diri negatif, dan (2) mengungkap interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan konsep diri terhadap pencapaian kompetensi siswa pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis varian (Anava) dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada  perbedaan kompetensi sikap dan kompetensi pengetahuan pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasar masalah dan model pembelajaran langsung dengan nilai signifikansi secara berturut-turut sebesar 0.027 dan 0.00. Pada kompetensi keterampilan pada mata pelajaran, tidak terdapat perbedaan antara siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran berdasar masalah dan model pembelajaran langsung dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.896, (2) tidak ada perbedaan kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar antara siswa yang memiliki konsep diri positif dan yang memiliki konsep diri negatif dengan nilai signifikansi secara berturut-turut sebesar 0.184, 0.792 dan 0.054, dan (3) tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan konsep diri terhadap pencapaian kompetensi sikap, pengetahuan dan keterampilan siswa pada mata pelajaran elektronika dasar dengan nilai signifikansi secara berturut-turut sebesar 0.289, 0.069, dan 0.896. Abstract The purpose of this research were to determine: (1) differences competence of attitudes, knowledge and skill in basic electronics subjects between students who are taught using problem based instruction and direct instruction, (2) difference competence of attitude, knowledge skills in basic electronics subjects between students who have a positive and negative self concept, and (3) interaction between instruction model and self concept to achievement of student’s competence in basic electronics subject. The research was carried out by experimental design. Data analysis techniques using two way anova. The results showed that: (1) there were difference competence of attitude and knowledge in basic electronics subjects among students who are taught using problem based instruction and direct instruction with the significance of  0.027 and 0.00 consecutively. While the competence of skill, there is no difference between students who are taught using problem based instruction and direct instruction with the significance of 0.896, (2) there was no difference in competence of attitude, knowledge, and skills in basic electronics subjects between students who have a positive and negative self concept with the significance of 0.184, 0.792, and 0.054 consecutively, and (3) there was no interaction between instruction model and self concept to achievement student’s competence of attitudes, knowledge and skills in subjects basic electronics with significance of 0.289, 0.069 dan 0.896 consecutively.     META ANALISIS KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PADA MATA PELAJARAN INSTALASI MOTOR LISTRIK DI SMK

    Vocational education is an education that aims to prepare graduates to be ready for work, and thus it demands teachers to ensure students to have competencies that support the purpose of vocational education. One way that applicable is by applying a learning model that suits the subjects and classroom conditions. Based on the description, this study aims to (1) reveal the effectiveness of learning models in the subjects of Electrical Motor Installation and things that affect them; (2) uncover the criteria of effective learning models applied to the subjects of electrical motor installation. This research is a literature review with descriptive analysis method and meta-analysis using the effect size technique. This study gets the results that all learning models effectively applied to the subjects of Electrical Motor Installation reviewed from the improvement of student competence. Learning models that require students to work in groups can improve students' competencies higher than teacher-centered learning models. It proved by the result in the calculation of effect size of the six data, including 5 data included in the large effect and 1 data included in the medium effect. TPSq learning model gets the highest effect size value of 0.98 and PBL learning model gets the lowest effect size value of 0.24. Meanwhile, the average effect size value is 0.75 or included in the large effects category

    Culture Learning Management Al-Quran Model Tilawati to Improve Student Character

    This study aims to determine the culture of learning, management functions, and the learning process of the Quran with the Tilawati model, as well as to determine the character development by learning the Quran with the Tilawati model at Junior High School Al Muslim of Sidoarjo, Islamic Junior High School of 1 Surabaya and Junior High School of 34 Surabaya. This study used a multi-case study research method with a purposive sampling technique with the research subjects, namely 3 schools. The collection is done by giving questions related to culture, learning management, and the learning process in the three schools. From the research it can be concluded that 1) The culture of learning Al-Quran with the Tilawati model provides a fairly good contribution to fostering student character, 2) The use of management science principles in the implementation of the Tilawati model of Al Quran learning program is very appropriate, 3) The learning process of the Al-Quran model consists of interrelated components, including; graduation targets about quality and quantity, curriculum, management of learning Al-Quran with the Tilawati model, 4) To foster 25 student characters through learning the Tilawati Al-Quran model is done by designing learning with syntax or learning stages that are systematically arranged. This research implies that it can be used as material to improve the implementation of the Al-Quran learning culture by developing modern learning management principles
