Study of the CH4/CO2 reaction on mesoporous nickel-doped silicate materials
We have studied the carbon dioxide reforming of methane at atm. pressure and 550°C on a series of nickel-contg. mesoporous silicas. Catalysts have been characterized by variety of techniques: chem. anal., nitrogen physisorption (BET and BJH theory), XRD method, Transmission electron microscopy (MET), Temp. programmed redn. (TPR). The obtained results show that the mesoporous Ni-contg. materials were very actives carbon dioxide reforming of methane and the activities depend on the metal, the reaction temp. and the calcination time and temp. The decreasing order of the catalyst activity is:Ni (10%) > Ni (5.5%) > Ni (3.5%) > Ni (2%)
