Significant improvement of efficiency in managing technical mastery of female athletes-jumpers depend on the operational response to the emerging new technologies, their approbation and implementation in practice. The article introduces new opportunities for the use of simulators in the process of technical training of highly qualified female jumpers. The authors demonstrate the principal possibility of the applied use of the "facilitating-the-leadership" simulator for improvement of motor actions of female athletes. Obtained results show evident prospects of further expanding of the use of technology and simulators in the system of present-day preparation of highly skilled female athletes

On Certain Characteristics of Ultrasound Attenuation in Suspensions of High-Molecular Oil Components

© 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Abstract: The paper presents experimental research data on the frequency and concentration dependences of additional ultrasound attenuation in mixtures of asphaltene in toluene. The results indicate that additional attenuation is determined by several different processes and has a relaxation nature. By juxtaposing the results to the data from several methods for studying similar model disperse systems, we show that changes in the concentration attenuation coefficient and its frequency dependence can provide additional information on structure transformations and phase transitions. The frequency dependence was measured in a range of 10–23 MHz. The concentration dependence was measured in the same frequency range from 0.1 to 10 wt %

Economic efficiency of on-farm land management in agricultural organizations

Get PDF
Good land management provides protection against land degradation for long-term and effective use. A survey was conducted among students in Kazakhstan for an internal assessment of the education quality. It was found that for ensuring competent land management, state financial support and external investment have to meet the needs for working capital and improve the quality of the material and technical base and staff; the quality education of new experts and their motivation have to be ensured; innovations introduction in the agricultural sector and long-term planning with centralized control have prospects for increasing economic efficiency

The vertex coordinates of the Galaxy's stellar systems according to the Gaia DR3 catalogue

We present the results of determining the coordinates of the vertices of various stellar systems, the centroids of which are located in the Galactic plane. To do this, the positions, parallaxes, proper motions, and radial velocities of red giants and subgiants contained in the GaiaGaia~DR3 catalogue have been used. When determining the components of the deformation velocity tensors in local coordinate systems, we found the coordinates of the vertices of the stellar systems under study. It turned out that there is a complex dependence of vertex deviations lxyl_{xy} in Galactocentric cylindrical (R,θR, \theta) and Galactic rectangular (X,YX,Y) coordinates. Based on the approach proposed in this paper, heliocentric distances to vertices have been determined for the first time. The results obtained show that in addition to the fact that the angular coordinates of the Galactic center and the vertices of stellar systems do not coincide, their heliocentric distances do not coincide as well. This presumably indicates that there are structures in the Galaxy that noticeably affect its axisymmetry.Comment: 10 pages, 14 figures, 1 table

Analytical Solution for the Current Distribution in Multistrand Superconducting Cables

Get PDF
Current distribution in multistrand superconducting cables can be a major concern for stability in superconducting magnets and for field quality in particle accelerator magnets. In this paper we describe multistrand superconducting cables by means of a distributed parameters circuit model. We derive a system of partial differential equations governing current distribution in the cable and we give the analytical solution of the general system. We then specialize the general solution to the particular case of uniform cable properties. In the particular case of a two-strand cable, we show that the analytical solution presented here is identical to the one already available in the literature. For a cable made of N equal strands we give a closed form solution that to our knowledge was never presented before. We finally validate the analytical solution by comparison to numerical results in the case of a step-like spatial distribution of the magnetic field over a short Rutherford cable, both in transient and steady state conditions

A new kinematic model of the Galaxy: analysis of the stellar velocity field from Gaia Data Release 3

This work presents the results of a kinematic analysis of the Galaxy that uses a new model as applied to the newest available Gaia data. We carry out the Taylor decomposition of the velocity field up to second order for 18 million high luminosity stars (i.e. OBAF-type stars, giants and subgiants) from the Gaia DR3 data. We determine the components of mean stellar velocities and their first and second partial derivatives (relative to cylindrical coordinates) for more than 28 thousand points in the plane of our Galaxy. We estimate Oort's constants AA, BB, CC, and KK and other kinematics parameters and map them as a function of Galactocentric coordinates. The values found confirm the results of our previous works and are in excellent agreement with those obtained by other authors in the Solar neighbourhood. In addition, the introduction of second order partial derivatives of the stellar velocity field allows us to determine the values of the vertical gradient of the Galaxy azimuthal, radial and vertical velocities. Also, we determine the mean of the Galaxy rotation curve for Galactocentric distances from 4 kpc to 18 kpc by averaging Galactic azimuths in the range -30^\circ < θ\theta < +30^\circ about the direction Galactic Centre-Sun-Galactic anticentre. Maps of the velocity components and of their partial derivatives with respect to coordinates within 10 kpc of the Sun reveal complex substructures, which provide clear evidence of non-axisymmetric features of the Galaxy. Finally, we show evidence of differences in the Northern and Southern hemispheres stellar velocity fields.Comment: 19 pages, 14 figures, 2 table

Reduction of Material Usage in 3D Printable Structures Using Topology Optimization Accelerated with U-Net Convolutional Neural Network

Get PDF
Today’s 3D printers allow the creation of very advanced structures from various materials, starting from simple plastics up to metal alloys. Since the printing time and amount of material used to create structures are considered very important in terms of cost and energy consumption, it is better to optimize structures for that particular application taking into account all the conditions. In the current work, U-Net convolutional neural network-based topology optimization method (TO) that allows to reduce the material usage and eventually reduces the cost of 3D printing is introduced. The results showed that the accuracy of the method is highly reliable and can be used for designing various 3D printable structures and it applies to any type of materials since properties of materials can be included in TO

Features Exterior of Cattle of Breed Limousian in the Period of Their Acclimation in the Conditions of the Northern Trans-Ural

The paper presents a characteristic of the exterior features of the specialized limousin meat breed bred in the conditions of the Tyumen region. Studies were conducted on first-calf cows of different generations of animals. At the same time, the introduced animals belong to the zero generation, their descendants to the 1st generation, and the grandchildren belong to the 2nd genetic-ecological generation. In the process of research, it was that the acclimatization process left its mark on the manifestation of the main breeding and productive qualities of the studied livestock generations. One of the manifestations of which was a certain grinding of cows of the first generation. The obtained results of the exterior assessment of cows of different generations showed that the best exterior development was observed in cows of the second and zero generation. So, in cows of the first and second generations there was a decrease in measurements of the chest, estimated by the chest index by 1.1–3.1 % (P> 0.999), with an increase in the proportions characterizing the development of meat qualities of animals by 6.2–6.6 % (P> 0.999). Adaptation to new conditions confirms the development of such indices as the typical physique and severity of type, which, when changing generations, had an increase dynamic
