    Failure of Universality in Noncompact Lattice Field Theories

    The nonuniversal behavior of two noncompact nonlinear sigma models is described. When these theories are defined on a lattice, the behavior of the order parameter (magnetization) near the critical point is sensitive to the details of the lattice definition.     Mapping Diversity of Publication Patterns in the Social Sciences and Humanities: An Approach Making Use of Fuzzy Cluster Analysis

    &lt;b&gt;Purpose:&lt;/b&gt; To present a method for systematically mapping diversity of publication patterns at the author level in the social sciences and humanities in terms of publication type, publication language and co-authorship.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Design/methodology/approach:&lt;/b&gt; In a follow-up to the hard partitioning clustering by Verleysen and Weeren in 2016, we now propose the complementary use of fuzzy cluster analysis, making use of a membership coefficient to study gradual differences between publication styles among authors within a scholarly discipline. The analysis of the probability density function of the membership coefficient allows to assess the distribution of publication styles within and between disciplines.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Findings:&lt;/b&gt; As an illustration we analyze 1,828 productive authors affiliated in Flanders, Belgium. Whereas a hard partitioning previously identified two broad publication styles, an international one vs. a domestic one, fuzzy analysis now shows gradual differences among authors. Internal diversity also varies across disciplines and can be explained by researchers&#39; specialization and dissemination strategies.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Research limitations:&lt;/b&gt; The dataset used is limited to one country for the years 2000-2011; a cognitive classification of authors may yield a different result from the affiliation-based classification used here.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Practical implications:&lt;/b&gt; Our method is applicable to other bibliometric and research evaluation contexts, especially for the social sciences and humanities in non-Anglophone countries.&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;Originality/value:&lt;/b&gt; The method proposed is a novel application of cluster analysis to the field of bibliometrics.     DATA CLUSTERING ON TEACHING AND LEARNING EVALUATION APPLICATION OVER PANDEMIC ERA

    SIEPEL is an evaluation application for teaching and learning process in University of Bengkulu. It is mandatory for every student to fill the questionnaire before they can see the marking value for each subject each semester. This survey was designed to meet the requirements and expectations of students as educational service for customers.&nbsp; This data is very important to improve the quality of teaching and learning process for further policy and decision maker. However, the analysis of the data remains an open question as the size and the distribution of the data is become some issues to process the analysis. Here, we showed the new approach to analysis the data using K-Means Clustering to see the better distribution and understanding over the evaluation data. This paper used elbow method to find the best number of clusters to be implemented on the algorithm approach which results in four clusters of satisfaction values (unsatisfied, less satisfied, satisfied, and very satisfied). The result of this analysis was published based on website system to show the visualization of analysis. Furthermore, this research showed that the average value of evaluation result for 4 semester was very satisfied 6.50%; satisfied 43.89%; less satisfied &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; 44.26%; and not satisfied 5.36%. The value of vary satisfied students was dropped from 20.47% to 0.12% by 2 years and the value for less satisfied was increased from 27.64% to 66.32%. This term was happened because of the pandemic era and the change on the process of learning and teaching on University of Bengkulu

Oleh karena itu, untuk dapat memberikan fasilitas kepada para pengunjung website untuk dapat berinteraksi dengan sistem, maka diperlukan suatu teknologi dalam pengembangan website pariwisata Kota Salatiga supaya dinamis dan interaktif bagi para penggunanya. Salah satu teknologi yang digunakan dalam pengembangan desain aplikasi website pariwisata Kota Salatiga ini adalah dengan menerapkan teknologi AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) untuk membuat aplikasi website menjadi lebih interaktif bagi penggunanya. Teknologi AJAX juga dapat meningkatkan kinerja dari halaman website baik dari sisi pengguna (klien) dan juga dari sisi server (web dan database server).
