This report is devoted to research of the luminescence of solid bodies excited by molecules of nitrous oxide and obtaining information on nuclear and molecular processes and processes of transfer of energy in systems gas - solid body. Also important part of work is orientation of results to practical application

Phase transition in three-dimensional lattice gas of hard-core molecules

The existence of a phase transition in a three-dimensional lattice gas of hard molecules is investigated by various methods. © 1969.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

Phase transition in lattice gases with attractions some approximate results

    No full text
An approximate treatment of some simple lattice models with attractive forces indicates the existence of a first-order transition below a critical temperature Tc, and of a second-order (continuous) one for any T > Tc. © 1975.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

Velocity-inversion and irreversibility in a dilute gas of hard disks

    No full text
Anti-kinetic situations created in a dilute gas of hard disks by suddenly reversing all velocities, are shown to present some character of instability. © 1967.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

Phase transitions in two-dimensional lattice gases of hard-core molecules. The triangular lattice

    No full text
The thermodynamic properties of assemblies of molecules with a hard core on a triangular lattice have been investigated by the matrix method and by series expansions. Three particular cases have been considered (denoted as B, C, D), corresponding, respectively, to exclusion ranges extending up to second-, third-, and fourth-neighboring sites. Case A (i.e. exclusion on first-neighboring sites only) has been studied previously by other authors, who concluded to the existence of a second-order continuous transition at high density. For all three cases B, C, and D, there is a good evidence for a first-order phase change of the fluid-solid type, similar to the transition observed for hard disks and hard spheres.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

Asymptotic behaviour of self-avoiding walks in continuous space

    No full text
The asymptotic behaviour of self-avoiding walks that do not lie on a lattice has been investigated by a Monte-Carlo procedure. Its dependence on the fine structure of the walk is discussed. © 1976.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

On the conformational transition of a self-avoiding walk adsorbed at an interface

    No full text
The conformational transition of a self-avoiding walk at an interface, between nonadsorbed and adsorbed states, is investigated by means of extended numerical data in the asymptotic limit, for five-choice and four-choice walks on the simple cubic lattice, up to 14 and 16 steps, respectively. Given x = exp(βε), where ε is the energy per adsorbed segment (β = 1/kT), the location of the transition is found to be x* = 1.485 (five choice) and x* = 1.502 (four choice). The nature of the transition is also investigated and it is shown that the mean fraction of adsorbed segments y n(x), in the limit of infiniten, tends to 0 below x* and toA[ln(x/x*)]α above x*, with α≃0.35-0. 40. The mean thickness (perpendicular to the surface) and the mean spread (parallel to the surface) of the walks are also discussed. © 1981 American Institute of Physics.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe
