Environmental Impact Assessment from the Emission of Combined Natural Gas Cycle Power Plant
This paper analysed the potential environmental impact of the natural gas-fired generating station in the surrounding area. The primary objective of this Study includes determination of the present environmental condition, study of the project related activities and assessment of the potential environmental effects due to these specific activities. The major environmental disciplines studied include ground and surface water hydrology, climatic condition, quality of air, noise, terrestrial and aquatic ecology. The power plant produce electricity using natural gas as fuel and natural gas does not contain any sulphur contents. The main pollutants are nitrous oxide (NO2), particulate matter (PM), CO from exhaust gas coming out from the turbine through stack and their values are well below National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Noise and Vibration in the study area is assed to be minor due plant operation and does not impact on local faunal species. Heavy metal concentrations in the groundwater found below the acceptable limit and suitable for using domestic and irrigation purpose. The analysis revealed that surface water quality is suitable for aquatic flora and fauna. Study also indicates that power plant has no negative impact on climatic condition, air quality and aquatic eco system
Understanding Psycholinguistic Behavior of predominant drunk texters in Social Media
In the last decade, social media has evolved as one of the leading platform
to create, share, or exchange information; it is commonly used as a way for
individuals to maintain social connections. In this online digital world,
people use to post texts or pictures to express their views socially and create
user-user engagement through discussions and conversations. Thus, social media
has established itself to bear signals relating to human behavior. One can
easily design user characteristic network by scraping through someone's social
media profiles. In this paper, we investigate the potential of social media in
characterizing and understanding predominant drunk texters from the perspective
of their social, psychological and linguistic behavior as evident from the
content generated by them. Our research aims to analyze the behavior of drunk
texters on social media and to contrast this with non-drunk texters. We use
Twitter social media to obtain the set of drunk texters and non-drunk texters
and show that we can classify users into these two respective sets using
various psycholinguistic features with an overall average accuracy of 96.78%
with very high precision and recall. Note that such an automatic classification
can have far-reaching impact - (i) on health research related to addiction
prevention and control, and (ii) in eliminating abusive and vulgar contents
from Twitter, borne by the tweets of drunk texters.Comment: 6 pages, 8 Figures, ISCC 2018 Workshops - ICTS4eHealth 201
Optical Quadruple Feynman Gate using SLM and Savart Plate
In recent years, Reversible logic is emerged as a promising computing paradigm with applications in low-power CMOS, quantum computing, optical computing and nanotechnology. The classical set of gates such as AND, OR, andEXOR are not reversible. However, optical computing technology the trinary and quadruple valued logic systems are the most important ones in the many valued logic system. In this paper, spatial light modulator (SLM) and Savart Plate based circuit has been proposed and described for realization of quadruple Fenyman Gate. It is optical in nature. SLM and Savart Plate can play a significant role in this field of ultra-fast all optical signalprocessing
Information transfer through a one-atom micromaser
We consider a realistic model for the one-atom micromaser consisting of a
cavity maintained in a steady state by the streaming of two-level Rydberg atoms
passing one at a time through it. We show that it is possible to monitor the
robust entanglement generated between two successive experimental atoms passing
through the cavity by the control decoherence parameters. We calculate the
entanglement of formation of the joint two-atom state as a function of the
micromaser pump parameter. We find that this is in direct correspondence with
the difference of the Shannon entropy of the cavity photons before and after
the passage of the atoms for a reasonable range of dissipation parameters. It
is thus possible to demonstrate information transfer between the cavity and the
atoms through this set-up.Comment: Revtex, 5 pages, 2 encapsulated ps figures; added discussion on
information transfer in relation with cavity photon statistics; typos
corrected; Accepted for Publicaiton in Europhysics Letter

Target Identification : A Challenging Step in Forward Chemical Genetics
Investigation of the genetic functions in complex biological systems is a challenging step in recent year. Hence, several valuable and interesting research projects have been developed with novel ideas to find out the unknown functions of genes or proteins. To validate the applicability of their novel ideas, various approaches are built up. To date, the most promising and commonly used approach for discovering the target proteins from biological system using small molecule is well known a forward chemical genetics which is considered to be more convenient than the classical genetics. Although, the forward chemical genetics consists of the three basic components, the target identification is the most challenging step to chemical biology researchers. Hence, the diverse target identification methods have been developed and adopted to disclose the small molecule bound protein. Herein, in this review, we briefly described the first two parts chemical toolbox and screening, and then the target identifications in forward chemical genetics are thoroughly described along with the illustrative real example case study. In the tabular form, the different biological active small molecules which are the successful examples of target identifications are accounted in this research review.22Yothe
Correlation of serum androgen and gonadotropin with anti-mullerian hormone in polycystic ovarian syndrome in Eastern Indian population
Background: Ovarian steroidogenesis requires gonadotropin stimulation, Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is a key factor in the hyperandrogenaemia of the polycystic ovary syndrome. Progesterone is the primary regulator of Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH) pulse frequency; however, in the polycystic ovary syndrome, the GnRH pulse generator is relatively resistant to the negative feedback effects of progesterone. Study aims to evaluate the association of Anti-mullerian hormone with serum androgen and gonadotropin level in adolescents and young women of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).Methods: This was a single centre observational Cross-sectional study carried out in the department of Endocrinology and metabolism, Medical College, Kolkata from March 2017 to January 2019. Total number of study subjects were 207 out of which 138 were cases. Results: The AMH had strong positive correlation with serum testosterone in both case and control groups (r 0.542, p<0.001 and r 0.57, p<0.001) respectively .After the adjustment of age and BMI , the AMH moderately positive but extremely significant correlation with serum testosterone as compare to control. Conclusions: Hyperandrogenaemia and higher ratio of LH and FSH associated with higher serum AMH level is associated with the higher serum AMH in polycystic ovarian syndrome
Biosorption of Acid dye by Jackfruit Leaf Powder: Isotherm, kinetics and Response surface methodology studies
A green adsorbent derived from Jackfruit leaf powder (JLP) was used to eliminate Acid Yellow 99 (AY 99) dye from an aqueous medium in this study. We checked the effect of pH, biomass dosage, and temperature (process parameters) on the adsorption potential of AY 99 was explored using the CCD model integrating the RSM approach. At a pH of 2.5, biosorbent dosage of 4 gL-1, and a 30°C temperature, maximum removal was preferred. ANOVA was incorporated to observe the importance of experimental variables and their interactions. The solution pH (A) and biomass dose (C) had the greatest effects on the decolorization of AY 99, according to the findings. ANOVA was used to identify the most important factors, which included two independent variables (A and C) and two quadratic model terms (A2 and C2). The kinetic data were effectively interpreted using a pseudo 2nd order with film diffusion model combination, indicating the chemisorptions phenomenon. Following the model of Langmuir isotherm, the utmost capacity for adsorption was determined to be 418.15 mg g-1 in terms of initial dye concentration. The findings of the maximum adsorption capacity showed that JLP could be employed as a useful adsorbent to eliminate AY 99 from its aqueous medium
