Factores de riesgo relacionados con accidentalidad laboral en una empresa del sector de hidrocarburos, Colombia julio 2010- junio 2013
Objetivo. Para fortalecer las estrategias preventivas de forma integral, se pretende caracterizar la accidentalidad ocurrida en una empresa del sector de hidrocarburos e identificar los posibles factores de riesgo relacionados con estos eventos.\ud
Metodolog铆a: Se realiz贸 un estudio descriptivo retrospectivo, utilizando las bases de datos SIGA y AUDICOMP del periodo Julio-2010 a Junio-2013, que almacenan informaci贸n sobre accidentes laborales en trabajadores vinculados a Petrobras, Colombia. Nuestra variable resultado fue el n煤mero de accidentes laborales en funci贸n de la experiencia laboral y tiempo de contrataci贸n en la empresa, estratificada por caracter铆sticas demogr谩ficas, propias del cargo ocupado y 谩rea anat贸mica lesionada. A las variables continuas se les calculo las medidas de tendencia central y dispersi贸n y a las categ贸ricas la proporci贸n; se estim贸 el Odds Ratio (OR) de presentar un accidente en < 1 o entre 1-5 a帽os de contrataci贸n.\ud
Resultados: se presentaron 457 accidentes, 96% (IC95% 94.2-97.8) fueron hombres, la d茅cada entre 25-34 a帽os (36.8; IC95% 32.4-41.2) y el tipo de cargo obrero fueron los m谩s frecuentes (35.3%; IC95% 30.9-39.6). Ser obrero (IC95% 2,11-2,65) y contar con experiencia laboral menor a un a帽o (IC95% 1,78-2,33) fueron los principales factores relacionados con un accidente en < 1 a帽o de contrataci贸n; el modelo con mayor AUC fue el de hombres entre 18-24 a帽os de edad, contratados para laborar como obrero y con menos de un a帽o de experiencia laboral (AUC 0,973; IC95% 0,865-0,995).\ud
Conclusiones. Los hombres entre 18-24 a帽os de edad, contratados para laborar como obrero y con menos de un a帽o de experiencia laboral, ten铆an mayor riesgo de presentar un accidente en menos de un a帽o desde la contrataci贸n. El modelo propuesto ayud贸 a identificar a trabajadores con alta probabilidad de presentar un accidente en < 1 a帽o desde la contrataci贸n.PETROBRAS, COLOMBIAObjective . Methodology: A retrospective descriptive study was conducted using the databases and SIGA AUDICOMP period July- 2010 to June - 2013 , which store information on workplace accidents linked to Petrobras , Colombia workers. Our outcome variable was the number of accidents in terms of work experience and recruitment time in the business, stratified by , post held own anatomical area injured and demographic characteristics. Results: ( 36.8 , 95% CI 32.4-41.2 ) 457 accidents, 96 % (95% CI 94.2-97.8 ) were men , the decade between 25-34 years were presented and the type of office workers were the most frequent (35.3 % , 95 % 30.9-39.6 ) . Being labor (95% CI 2.11 to 2.65 ) and having work experience less than one year ( 95% CI 1.78 to 2.33 ) were the main factors associated with an accident in <1 year of employment , the model greater AUC was males 18-24 years old, hired to work as a laborer and less than one year of work experience (AUC 0.973 , 95% CI 0.865 to 0.995 ) .\ud
Conclusions . Men 18-24 years old, hired to work as a laborer and less than one year of work experience, had higher risk of an accident in less than a year from recruitment . The proposed model helped identify workers with high probability of an accident in <1 year from recruitment
