Abstract
Introduction: The corpus callosum is the largest structure of the nerve fibers of the brain. Its main function is to coordinate the transfer of information between the right and left hemispheres of the brain. Agnesis of the corpus callosum is one of the most common defects in the CNS. ACC can be isolated as a defect (approx. 20%) or extend as a disorder co-morbid abnormalities of other systems and organs (approx. 80%). In patients who have a disorder of the corpus callosum work points to the plurality of delays and disturbances. They are related to physiological disorders, developmental, social and disorders of communication, speech and language. The aim of the study was to description of psychomotor impairment in a child with agnesis of the corpus callosum.
Material and method: The object of the study was a three-year-old girl diagnosed with agnesis of the corpus callosum. Pregnancy was complicated, in the study of prenatal suspicion of CNS defects, threatening preterm delivery at 32 weeks gestation. In neonatal microcephaly found in ultrasound agnesis of the corpus callosum. EEG is abnormal. Made imaging CNS in sedation indicates holoprosencephaly. The current diagnosis of the child is also hypopituitarism, hypernatremia separable and short stature.
Conclusions: Agnesis of the corpus callosum is a congenital defect and now there are not known methods of treatment of this deficit. A child who has the disorder need to be taken care of multidisciplinary team: neurologist endocrinologist, genetics, optometrist, pediatrician, psychologist, a physiotherapist, and the speech therapist to compensate for developmental deficits.

Evaluation of the course of the early postoperative period after surgery endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm elimination by biochemical tests
Summary
Admission: Abdominal aortic aneurysm occurs in 4-9% of men and 12% of women over 65 years of age, and its rupture is the cause of 10 deaths in developed countries. Perioperative mortality in the event of a ruptured aneurysm is 20-50%, and remains unchanged regardless of the methods of treatment, while in the surgical treatment of patients under elective with the work of J. N. Volodos and Pariodiego obtained vast improvement early results. Late results for endovascular methods are not as good, it is the subject of numerous multicenter studies. The current mortality rate of patients treated with endovascular means remains below 1%. Despite lower overall mortality continues to happen all sorts of complications such as local and general.
Objective of the work: Rating Running the early postoperative period after surgery endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm elimination with selected biochemical indices.
Material and methods: The patient admitted in elective office in the diagnosis of abdominal aortic aneurysm endovascular purpose of supply.
Results: The course of post-operative patient in a test can not be described as complicated. Control arteriography showed off correct an aneurysm, without leakage.
Conclusions: Postoperative care is a continuation of surgical treatment and significantly determines the scope of the safety of the patient and the risk of developing complications. Accurate and systematic observation of patients after EVAR allows immediate detection and treatment of complications occurring.

Language and communication disorders associated with physiological aging
Introduction: In the process of physiological aging leads to changes related to human functioning. Modifications also apply to the sphere of cognitive and related competencies: language and communication. Ability to efficiently use speech and language at the age of senioralnym is important not only because of intellectual functioning, but also serves as pragmatic. Language is in fact an essential tool for building social relationships.
The aim of the study was to analysis of the literature on changes in language and communicative competence in the process of physiological aging.
Results: With age, the deterioration observed in language and communication skills of older people. In the area of language skills is observed senile changes at all levels of posts: phonological, syntactic and semantic. The elderly are observable phenomenon, which does not notice the earlier stages of life. In the statements of senior citizens should pay particular attention to phenomena such as TOT (tip-of-the-tongue) and OTV (off-target verbosity).
Summary: The speech of seniors is a reflection of changes occurring within the cognitive functions of both the basic and the higher ones. Research on the use of language by seniors are an interesting topic for an interdisciplinary group of specialists. In order to delay the aging process in the field of cognitive and linguistic advised to inspire the elderly to educational activity, providing them thus improving the quality of life
Assessment of nutritional status of the patient with cancer of the stomach by means of selected methods of anthropometric, biochemical and immunological
Introduction: Nutritional status is a medical condition that results from the customary intake of food absorbed and the use of its component nutrients or non-nutrients. Malnutrition is a problem faced by therapeutic teams around the world. This condition affects approximately 20-50% of patients hospitalized au deepens 30-90% of patients during hospital treatment.
Aim: Assessment of nutritional status of a patient with gastric cancer using selected methods of anthropometric, biochemical and immunological research.
Material and methods: The patient admitted in the surgery ward elective 64 years, diagnosis of gastric cancer according to the TNM classification type T3N1MO for treatment. A patient with a history of three cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
Results: Taking into account the results of the questionnaire NRS-2002, interview, physical examination, symptoms, anthropometric measurements, biochemical and immunological studies can assess the nutritional status of the patient is not valid. The patient is malnourished. Taking into account the recommendation ESPEN (Europan Society for Paraenteral and enteral nutrition) and nutritional status of the patient has become necessary to incorporate nutritional therapy. The patient was included in parenteral nutritional therapy.
Conclusions: Malnutrition is a medical condition rarely recognized, in consequence of which comes to many dangerous health complications discouraging and even the life of the patient. There are several types of malnutrition. Often, patients with cancer, particularly cancer of the gastrointestinal tract, resulting in prolonged malnutrition, cachexia occurs. Cachexia is a syndrome due to systemic inflammatory response which is a response to the presence of the disease in the body. Recognized malnutrition should be treated. After identifying the patient at risk of malnutrition or who is in the disease state of malnutrition, are introduced nutritional therapy. Evaluation of nutrition should belong to the basic skills of each member of the therapeutic team
