Three variants of immune responses to balneotherapy at the spa Truskavets’ in patients with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis
Background. The results of research the influence of balneotherapy in the s pa Truskavets ’ on the immune status of the organism are ambiguous. This may be due to the differences between the cohorts of the subjects under investigation, and individual immune reactivity. Therefore, research in this direction remains relevant. The purpose of this study is to identify variants of the immunotr o p ic effect of balneotherapy. Material and methods. In basal conditions in 33 men and 10 women with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis in remission , we recorded twice, before and after balneotherapy at the spa Truskavets’, parameters of Immune status on a set of I and II levels recommended by the WHO. Results. Three variants of immune responses to balneotherapy have been revealed. In 46 , 5% of patients changes in immune parameters fluctuated around the zero line and did not go beyond the limits of one Z-unit, that is, there was a quasi-zero immunotropic effect. In 32 , 6% of patients, moderate activation of neutrophil bactericidal activity was detected against as Staph. aur., and E. coli, an increase in the level of immunoglobulins G and M, as well as T- h elpers, while the level of cytolytic T-lymphocytes was moderately reduced, in the absence of significant changes in the remaining 5 parameters of the immunogram. In 20 , 9% of patients, on the contrary, the level of T-killers has moderately increased, as well as the level of natural killers, in combination with a significant increase in neutrophil bactericid ity against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, in the absence of significant changes in the remaining 7 parameters of the immunogram. Conclusion . Immune responses to balneotherapy have a polyvariant nature, which is probably due to individual reactivity, and will be the subject of the next study
Interrelations between changes in parameters of HRV, EEG and cellular immunity at patients with chronic pyelonephrite and cholecystite
Background. Previously we have shown within the immunological homunculus conception that take place causal relationships between induced by balneotherapy changes in parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of humoral immunity, on the other hand. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationships between induced by balneotherapy changes in parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of cellular immunity, on the other hand. Methods. In basal conditions in 33 men and 10 women with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis in remission, we recorded twice, before and after balneotherapy at the spa Truskavets’, EEG (“NeuroCom Standard”) and HRV (“Cardiolab+VSR”). In blood estimated routine parameters of cellular immunity. Results. We detected that changes in relative level CD4+ T helper lymphocytes upregulated by parasympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci T3, T4 and P4, while downregulated by sympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the locus F7 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto T6 and P4 loci. Level of CD8+ T cytolytic lymphocytes vice versa downregulated by parasympathetic outflows as well as δ-rhythm generating structures onto locus F7 and θ-rhythm generating structures onto the locus T3, while upregulated by θ-rhythm generating structures onto the locus T4. Level of CD16+ natural killers upregulated by sympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci T4, T5 and C3 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto the locus T4, while downregulated by parasympathetic outflows and β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci Fp1 and F4 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto the loci P4, O1 and O2, θ-rhythm generating structures onto the loci F7, T5, T6 and O2 as well as δ-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci F7, T5 and T6. Level of 0-lymphocytes upregulated by sympathetic outflows and δ-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci F7 and T5 as well as α-rhythm generating structures onto the loci P4 and O2, while downregulated by β-rhythm generating structures that are projected onto the loci T5 and O1. Conclusion. The results are supplemented and refined Tracey’s immunological homunculus conception
Interrelations between changes in parameters of HRV, EEG and phagocytosis at patients with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis
Background. Previously we have shown within the immunological homunculus conception that take place causal relationships between induced by balneotherapy changes in parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of humoral and cellular immunity, on the other hand. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationships between induced by balneotherapy changes in parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of phagocytosis , on the other hand. Material and methods. In blood estimated parameters of phagocytic function of neutrophils against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli. Results. Judging by the coefficients of canonical correlation, the maximal subordinate nervous regulation is the completeness of phagocytosis of E. coli (R=0,944), whereas the influence of the nervous system on the completeness of phagocytosis Staph. aur. is minimal (R=0,607). With regard to the intensity of phagocytosis, the differences in the strength of nerve influence are expressed less (0,893 vs 0,744), and in relation to the activity of phagocytosis as well as the bactericidal ability of neutrophils, there are no differences between R (0,858 vs 0,857 and 0,831 vs 0,834, respectively). However, significant differences were found between profiles of correlation coefficients between EEG and HRV parameters, on the one hand, and phagocytosis parameters, on the other hand, for representatives of Gram-negative and Gram-positive microbes. Conclusion. In the nervous regulation of phagocytosis by neutrophils of the Gram-negative and Gram-positive microbes are involved the structures that are localized in different parts of the CNS
Causal neuro-immune relationships at patients with chronic pyelonephritis and cholecystitis. Correlations between parameters EEG, HRV and white blood cell count
We aim to analyze in bounds KJ Tracey’s immunological homunculus conception the relationships between parameters of electroencephalogram (EEG) and heart rate variability (HRV), on the one hand, and the parameters of bhite blood cell count, on the other hand

Abstracts
Background. Previously, we have shown that blood level of Leukocytes and parameters of Leukocytogram significantly modulated by electrical activity some structures of central and autonomic nervous systems. In this study, we set a goal to analyse the relationships between parameters of EEG and HRV, on the one hand, and the parameters of phagocytosis, on the other hand. Methods. In basal conditions in 23 men, patients with chronic pyelonephrite and cholecystite in remission, recorded EEG (“NeuroCom Standard”, KhAI Medica, Ukraine) and HRV (“Cardiolab+VSR”, KhAI Medica, Ukraine). In portion of venous blood estimated parameters of phagocytic function of neutrophils. Results. Revealed that canonical correlation between constellation EEG and HRV parameters form with Phagocytic Index 0,94 and 0,93 for E. coli and Staph. aureus respectively. However neural regulation Killing Index as well as Microbial Count significantly distinguished for Gram-negative and Gram-positive Bacteria: R form 0,99 and 0,84 versus 0,66 and 0,69 respectively. Integrated parameter Bactericidity Capacity of blood Neutrophills correlated with EEG and HRV parameters equally: R makes 0,89 and 0,93 respectively. Conclusion. Neutrophils phagocytic function subordinate modulation central and autonomic nervous systems.
