    The title compound, C20H15N3O, was synthesized and the structure was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The compound crystallizes in the triclinic crystal class in the space group P1 with cell parameters a = 7.724(6)à , b = 9.059(6)à , c = 12.186(1)à , α = 78.588(5)°, β = 73.630(4)°, γ = 70.924(5)° Z = 2. The dihydropyrimidine ring in the quinazoline moiety is in an skew-boat conformation.
