Modelo de Gestión de Conocimiento para el Núcleo Universitario Santa Lucía
The present work aims to propose a model of knowledge management for agricultural teaching based on ontologies. Through identification of the business model, business processes, intellectual capital and ontologies, the relationships between each of the parts of the model are described, and the technological elements that support it are presented. From the point of view of knowledge management and ontologies, the model that guides the innovative university is developed, where Santa Lucía Campus of the Universidad Politécnica Territorial de Mérida (UPTM) is the case study. This model describes the elements that define the knowledge of an Agricultural Production Unit from the university, so that it can incorporate the know-how of knowledge management and collaborative learning articulated with ICT applied to educational-productive management in the agricultural sector. Ontology is used as the main mechanism to represent knowledge, defining within a context or domain the meaning of the terms and their relationships. Through the model the technological bases and knowledge necessary in the teaching of agriculture in a university nucleus are structured.Keywords: Ontology, Knowledge Management, Agro-business, Business Model.

Fundamentos matemáticos de los métodos Kernel para aprendizaje supervisado
El objetivo del presente estudio es resaltar la importancia de las máquinas de
vector soporte, conjunto de técnicas de aprendizaje supervisado aplicadas a resolver tareas de clasificación. Además, se enfatizan algunos de los enlaces entre los métodos de optimización matemática y la clasificación supervisada. Muchas áreas diferentes de optimización matemática desempeñan un papel central en los métodos de clasificación supervisada. Por otra parte, la optimización matemática resulta extremadamente útil para abordar cuestiones importantes en la clasificación, como la identificación de variables relevantes o la mejora de la interpretabilidad de los clasificadores.
Antes que nada, se hace un desarrollo teórico de los fundamentos matemáticos de las máquinas de vector soporte 1. Se comienza el desarrollo por el caso más sencillo, es decir, el caso de clasificación binaria y, tendiendo al tipo de separabilidad de los ejemplos de entrada, se consideran distintas opciones. Así, en primer lugar, se aborda el caso ideal de ejemplos linealmente separables para, seguidamente, abordar el caso de ejemplos no linealmente separables, donde las SVM demuestran su gran potencialidad. Para este último caso, se introducen las funciones kernel que hace que las SMV sean aplicables para cualquier conjunto de datos. Finalmente, estas técnicas estudiadas son utilizadas para la clasificación de mamografías,
lo cual permite construir un clasificador que separe la clase de tumores
benignos de la clase de tumores malignos, a partir de un conjunto de datos tomados de “UCI Machine Learning Repository: Breast Cancer Wisconsin”. De esta forma, el objetivo será construir el mejor clasificador para dicho conjunto de datos.The aim of the present study is to highlight the importance of support vector
machines, which are a set of supervised learning techniques applied to solve classification tasks. In addition, some links between mathematical optimization methods and supervised classification are emphasized. Many different areas of mathematical optimization play a central role in the methods of supervised classification. On the other hand, the mathematical optimization turns out to be extremely useful in order to deal with important issues in classifications, as the identification of relevant variables or the improvement of the interpretability of classifiers. First of all, a theoretical development of the mathematical foundations of support vector machines (SVM) is presented. The development begins for the simplest case, that is to say, the case of binary classification and attending the type of separability of the input examples, we can consider different options. Firstly, the ideal case of linearly separable examples are approached, afterwards, the case of not linearly
separable examples is approached as well, where the SVM demonstrates his
great potential. For the latter case, to apply the SVM for any set of information, kernel functions are introduced. Finally, these techniques are used for the classification of mammograms, which allows to construct a classifier that separates the class of benign tumours from the class of malignant tumours, from a set of data taken of “UCI Machine Learning
Repository: Breast Cancer Wisconsin”. In this way, the aim will be to construct

Luis Valdez and the Farmworkers’ Theatre
Luis Valdez fundó en 1965 El Teatro Campesino. A través de este teatro, surgió una representación real de los chicanos y crítica con su situación como miembros de una minoría en EEUU. El Movimiento Chicano nutre ideológicamente a esta representación artística que surge por y para el pueblo y pretende la difusión tanto de su espíritu/espiritualidad como de su cultura e ideología. The Spiritual Plan of Aztlán: The birth of Chicano Nationalism
En mi trabajo, intento explicar lo que El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán supuso en la forjadura de un sentimiento político-patriótico chicano que sentara las bases de su tradición cultural. El nombramiento de Aztlán fue un acto espontáneo que creó una conciencia espiritual chicana: ningún otro acto del Movimiento Chicano tuvo tanta repercusión como la declaración de El Plan Espiritual de Aztlán. Las circunstancias que motivaron la redacción del Plan se circunscriben en la lucha por los derechos civiles de los chicanos.The aim of this paper is to explain the meaning of The Spiritual Plan of Aztlán in the forging of a Chicano political and patriotic sentiment, which set the basis for its cultural tradition. The recognition and naming of Aztlán was a spontaneous act which created a deep Chicano spiritual consciousness. No other act of this movement was as impressive as The Spiritual Plan of Aztlán. This Plan was a direct response in the fight of chicanos for their civil rights
A brief introduction to contrastive analysis in English and Spanish
En este trabajo trataré de realizar un estudio comparativo sobre distintos aspectos gramaticales entre las lenguas española e inglesa. Por cuestiones de extensión, éste no pretende ser un estudio exhaustivo que abarque la complejidad y amplitud de los problemas a los que vamos a referirnos. Ambas lenguas comparten muchos rasgos comunes con respecto a las estructuras atributivas, no obstante, existen también características que las diferencian. En el desarrollo de este apartado, llevaremos a cabo un análisis contrastivo sintáctico-semántico. Intentaré conseguir aclarar y establecer unas pautas que faciliten la comprensión y posterior puesta en práctica de dichas gramáticas.In this paper, I will try to make a comparative study about different gramatical aspects between English and Spanish. This does not pretend to be a deep or exhaustive study, since the complexity of the questions which I am mentioning is beyond my humble aim. Although both English and Spanish share many characteristics in their attributive structures, there are also big differences between them. I will try to establish some common steps which students can follow and which will lead them to a better comprehension of both languages, allowing them to put into practice the knowledge they have acquired

Synthesis and study of biological activity of tetrahydro-1H-[3]-benzazepines
The 3-Benzazepines are an important class of compounds in drug discovery due to their biological activity such as analgesic, antihypertensive or anticancer properties as well as dopaminergic or antidopaminergic activity. In particular, the tetrahydro-1H-[3]- benzazepine is a common skeleton in a number of natural and pharmaceutical products. As consequence of the interesting biological properties, derivatives of the tetrahydro-1H-[3]-benzazepines, especially the 1-aryl substituted have been synthesized by different routes and evaluated their pharmacologic activity. [1,2]
The stereoselective synthetic approaches of tetrahydro-1H-[3]-benzazepine have focused on ring enlargements, as the Stevens rearrangement (SR) which is a good regio- and diastereoselective synthetic methodology. In my research group, the reaction conditions to synthesize tetrahydro-1H-[3]-benzazepines 1,2-disubstituted by via SR from tetrahydroisoquinolinium salts conveniently functionalized have been optimized. [3,4]
This methodology allowed us to obtain a wide variety of tetrahydro-1H-[3]- benzazepines 1,2-disubstituted with different substituents at A-ring (Cl, OMe) and the C-1 (-C6H4X, X = H, OMe, Cl, NO2, NMe2, NH2, SMe) and C-2 (Electron-withdrawing groups) positions. The demethylation of the synthesized tetrahydroisoquinolines and tetrahydro-1H-[3]-benzazepines 1,2-disubstituted, lead us to get catechol structure, an important requirement for their dopaminergic activity.
We have studied the dopaminergic activity of the synthesized compounds by radioligand binding assays, establishing a structure-activity relationships.

Synthesis of bioactive compounds. Studies of their attachment to nanoparticles
The 1-aryl tetrahydroisoquinolines have attracted great attention in medicinal chemistry due to their biological activity. These compounds present antitumor, anti-HIV and antibacterial activities. Several analogues of 1-aryl tetrahydroisoquinoline are used for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson´s and Alzheimer´s diseases since also act as dopaminergic antagonists and N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist. [1]
The 1-substituted tetrahydro-3-benzazepines have also been studied for their affinity to the Phencylclidine binding site of the NMDA receptor as well as for their affinity to the dopaminergic receptors. [2]
In the last years, various methods have been carried out to satisfy the demand of novel tetrahydroisoquinolines and tetrahydro-3-benzazepines. We have synthesized nor-1-aryl tetrahydroisoquinolines with different substituents in the aryl group of C-1 (H, NMe2, SMe, NO2, NH2). In addition to this, we have performed the synthesis of nor-tetrahydro-3-benzazepinas by different routes, obtaining the best results via opening of epoxides by arylphenethylamines and subsequent cyclization.
The nor-tetrahydroisoquinolines and nor-tetrahydro-3-benzazepines have been derivatized to obtain appropiate adsorbates which can be attached to nanoparticles. This fact is crutial in drug delivery systems as well as in the improvement of the biocompatibility of these compounds.
