Nonlinear robust adaptive NN control for variable-sweep aircraft

In this paper, we address the problem of altitude and velocity controllers design for variable-sweep aircraft with model uncertainties. The object is to maintain altitude and velocity during the wing transition process where mass distribution and aerodynamic parameters change significantly. Based on the functional decomposition, the longitudinal dynamics of the aircraft can be divided into altitude subsystem in non-affine pure feedback form and velocity subsystem. And then nonlinear robust adaptive NN velocity controller and altitude controller are designed with backstepping method to relax the prior requirements of aerodynamic parameters accuracy in linear LPV controller design. The method of filtered signal is used to circumvent the algebraic loop problem caused by the dynamics of non-affine pure feedback form. Dynamic surface control (DSC) and minimal learning parameters (MLP) techniques are employed to solve the problems of ‘explosion of complexity’ in the back-stepping method and the online updated parameters being too much. The robust terms have been introduced to eliminate the influences of approximation errors. According to the Lyapunov-LaSalle invariant set theorem, the semi-global boundedness and convergence of all the signals of the closed-loop system are proved. Simulation results are presented to illustrate the control algorithm with good performance

Background: Cisplatin (CIS) is widely used to treat various cancers but can cause ototoxicity and sensory hair cell loss in the inner ear. Copper induces an excessive production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in hair cells, leading to the development of various antioxidants. Methods and results: This study aimed to evaluate the potential antioxidant properties of curcumin (CUR) in the inner ear organ of corti-1 cells (OC1) and animal models (zebrafish and guinea pigs). Graphene oxide quantum dots (GOQDs) enabled CUR to penetrate the round window membrane (RWM) and maintain the concentration in the perilymph after inner ear administration. The results showed that CUR/GOQDs had favorable biocompatibility and strongly affected ROS generation induced by CIS in OC1 cells. DCFHDA Green staining demonstrated that CUR/GOQDs successfully reversed the decrease in mitochondrial membrane potential induced by CIS in vitro and rescued cells from early cuproptosis, which was confirmed by FDX1 staining. Additionally, the experiment found that CUR decreased the expression of cuproptosis proteins (FDX1, LIAS, and LIPT1) and increased the expression of the Bcl-2 protein. Conclusion: The results demonstrate that CUR/GOQDs is a promising therapeutic agent that can prevent CIS-induced ototoxicity by blocking the cuproptosis signal pathway

BackgroundThis study aimed at exploring unique population genetic characteristics of Albizia odoratissima (Linn. f) Benth on Hainan Island to provide a scientific basis for its rational utilization and protection.MethodsIt analyzed the genetic diversity and structure of 280 individuals from 10 subpopulations of A. odoratissima from Hainan Island and Baise City using 16 expression sequence markers - simple sequence repeat markers.ResultsThe genetic diversity of Hainan population (I = 0.7290, He = 0.4483) was lower than that of the Baise population (I = 0.8722, He = 0.5121). Compared with the Baise population (Nm = 2.0709, FST = 0.1077), the Hainan Island population (Nm = 1.7519, FST = 0.1249) exhibited lower gene flow and higher degree of genetic differentiation. Molecular variance and genetic differentiation analyses showed that the main variation originated from individuals within the subpopulation. There were significant differences in the genetic structure between Hainan and Baise populations. It grouped according to geographical distance, consistent with the Mantel test results (R2 = 0.77, p = 0.001). In conclusion, the genetic diversity of the island A. odoratissima population was lower than that distributed on land, the two populations exhibited obvious genetic structure differences. Both the degrees of inbreeding and genetic differentiation were higher in the island population than in the land population

The gas gain and energy resolution of single and double THGEM detectors (5{\times}5cm2 effective area) with mini-rims (rim is less than 10{\mu}m) were studied. The maximum gain can reach 5{\times}103 and 2{\times}105 for single and double THGEM respectively, while the energy resolution of 5.9 keV X-ray varied from 18% to 28% for both single and double THGEM detectors of different hole sizes and thicknesses. All the experiments were investigated in mixture of noble gases(argon, neon) and small content of other gases(iso-butane,methane) at atmospheric pressure.Comment: 4pages,6figures, it has been submitted to Chinese Physics
