Umweltkommunikation ueber regenerative Energien am Beispiel des 'OeKO -SPASS - BAD's' Abschlussbericht

At the end of the 2000 summer season, it was clear that the Van Ameren public swimming pool would have to be modernized. Installation of a new heating system could be delayed no longer. In this situation, a general concept for a new 'Eco-Fun' public swimming pool was developed. Conversion to a renewable energy supply system was accompanied by an extensive public relations programme. Environmentally relevant data were published, the existing restaurant was converted to eco-based power supply, and an environmental training programme was initiated. The contribution presents details of all elements of this concept.Zum Ende der Freibadsaison 2000 stand fest: Die alte Heizungsanlage des Van Ameren Buergerbades ist abgaengig und wird die folgende Saison nicht ueberstehen. Die Installation eines neuen Heizungssystems war unumgaenglich. Aus der Not wurde eine Tugend gemacht und ein neues Gesamtkonzept fuer das Buergerbad entwickelt. Kernstueck des neuen Oeko - Spass - Bad - Konzeptes bildet eine thermisiche Solaranlage zur Warmwassererzeugung. Der Umstieg auf eine regenerative Energieerzeugung diente als Basis fuer ein umfangreiches Umweltkommunikationsprogramm. Es wurden umweltrelevante Daten visualisiert, der vorhandene Kisok oekologisch ausgerichtet und ein Umweltschulungsprogramm aus der Taufe gehoben. Auf die einzelnen Elemente des Oeko - Spass - Bad - Konzeptes wird im Weiteren detailliert eingegangen.
