Nkrumaist Calendar Collection

The Nkrumaist Calendar Collection is comprised of calendars produced by the Pan-African Revolutionary Socialist Party from 1984 through 2017. Each calendar is dedicated to specific themes including, African Women, The Plight of Youth, Revolutionary Leadership, and Globalization. This collection was donated by Dr. Doreatha Mbalia in 2014

John Porter Photograph Collection

The collection contains 41 images and photographs dating from the late 1890s to the early 1900s belonging to the late Reverend John Porter (1856-1929). John Porter was a well known figure in Baltimore\u27s African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church and the father of prominent African American art historian James A. Porter (1905-1970). The AME Church features prominently in the collection images with the vast majority of the images depicting either churches or ministers. The collection also contains portraits of other identified and unidentified men, women, and children

The Francophone Illustrated Newspaper Collection contains full color illustrations from Le Petit Parisian and Le Petit Journal\u27s Sunday supplements. The bulk of illustrations depict events in French Colonial Africa. Other areas illustrated include The United States, Haiti, Martinique and territories in South America
