    Effective Knowledge Management in Projects: Characteristics and Integration

    The integration of effective Knowledge Management (KM) in projects is founded on numerous factors. These factors include available resources, KM tools, leadership, organizational culture, and project objectives and goals among others. It is very important to set priorities for these considerations and factors in order to ensure effective KM integration into projects. Despite the fact that Project Knowledge Management (PKM) is characterized by numerous beneficial implications, it is also associated with risks. These risks include potential delays in project implementation and budget deficits. The Project Knowledge Management Life Cycle (PKMLC) includes five main stages: the knowledge creation, knowledge storage, knowledge dissemination, knowledge learning, and knowledge improvement. Each phase is essential towards the attainment of overall efficiency in the integration of KM into projects.     Serverless Computing and Scheduling Tasks on Cloud: A Review

    Recently, the emergence of Function-as-a-Service (FaaS) has gained increasing attention by researchers. FaaS, also known as serverless computing, is a new concept in cloud computing that allows the services computation that triggers the code execution as a response for certain events. In this paper, we discuss various proposals related to scheduling tasks in clouds. These proposals are categorized according to their objective functions, namely minimizing execution time, minimizing execution cost, or multi objectives (time and cost). The dependency relationships between the tasks plays a vital role in determining the efficiency of the scheduling approach. This dependency may result in resources underutilization. FaaS is expected to have a significant impact on the process of scheduling tasks. This problem can be reduced by adopting a hybrid approach that combines both the benefit of FaaS and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS). Using FaaS, we can run the small tasks remotely and focus only on scheduling the large tasks. This helps in increasing the utilization of the resources because the small tasks will not be considered during the process of scheduling. An extension of the restricted time limit by cloud vendors will allow running the complete workflow using the serverless architecture, avoiding the scheduling problem

    Online engagement has assumed a pivotal role within educational pedagogy, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study delves into the perceptions of Jordanian English language educators regarding their preparedness for online teaching in the post-pandemic landscape. In this quantitative study, a group of 101 English language educators from Jordanian universities participated, and their responses were subjected to analysis through descriptive statistics. The findings of this analysis indicate that the respondents exhibited a moderate level of familiarity with technology and e-learning platforms, alongside a similarly moderate level of competence in managing their online courses. Furthermore, the study underscores a noteworthy gap in their exposure to online education, despite their considerable tenure in teaching English. Consequently, the study underscores the necessity for tailored training programs designed to comprehensively enhance the online teaching proficiency of English language educators, thereby facilitating a more effective virtual learning environment
