In this work timeliness of use of information and computer technologies is emphasized when forming communicative competence in a foreign language in higher education institution. Besides, as a methodological basis of the information training environment the principles of social constructivism are analyzed. The training Moodle shell program entirely meets requirements of educational process and the virtual educational environment as well, and it is also the most sensible modern system of distance learning as a whole and to foreign languages in particular.В данной работе подчёркивается актуальность использования информационно-компьютерных технологий при формировании коммуникативной компетенции на иностранном языке в вузе. Кроме того, в качестве методологической основы информационно-обучающей среды анализируются принципы социального конструктивизма. Описывается обучающая оболочка Moodle, которая благодаря своим возможностям отвечает в полной мере требованиям учебного процесса и виртуальной образовательной среды, а также является наиболее оптимальной на сегодняшний день системой дистанционного обучения в целом и иностранным языкам, в частности

The purpose of the article is the study and evaluation ofthe use of pragmatic texts in the English language. The development of social and cultural relations requiresmodern person’s ability to participate in real intercultural communication. In this regard, one of the importantaspects of learning a foreign language becomes pragmatic.Pragmatics of foreign language communication beyondlanguage environment may be implemented in the classroomin English. The use of pragmatic text contributes to theformation of positive motivation of students to learn a foreignlanguage, as well as develops imagination and creativity.Целью данной статьи является изучение и оценка использования прагматических текстов на занятиях по английскому языку. Развитие социокультурных связей требует от современного человека умение участвовать в реальной межкультурной коммуникации. В связи с этим, один из важных аспектов обучения иностранному языку становится прагматический. Прагматика иноязычной коммуникации вне языковой среды может осуществляться на занятиях по иностранному языку в процессеработыспрагматическимитекстами. Использование текстов прагматического характера способствует формированию положительной мотивации у студентов к изучению иностранного языка, а так же развивает творческое воображение
