This research reports a study conducted in Gilgit-Baltistan of Pakistan. The purpose of the study is to explore the CELM experiences of a government school head teacher. A qualitative case study method was used to investigate the subject matter. The participant was selected on the basis of pre-determined criteria that s/he has participated in the whole intervention programme, and completed all the mandatory tasks assigned during the whole intervention period. The findings of the study showed that CELM intervention has been instrumental in bringing about a significant effect on the professional approaches of the head teacher. On one hand he has enriched his professional attitude while on the other hand he is more sensitized towards students’ developmental needs and school development activities. He has initiated various programmes related to community participation, team building and encouraging teachers. Apart from his personal professional growth by acquiring various skills, he has brought about visible changes in school premises. They include initiation of portfolios, creation of learning environment in the classrooms to maximize students’ participation and introduction of new assessment procedures. Since the role of head teacher is directly associated with all the stakeholders of a school community, and success of any initiation depends upon active involvement of head teacher, therefore the study recommends that this aspect must be given extra attention to further strengthen the timely needed capabilities of head teachers. This ultimately can feat students’ performance through developed head teacher’s approaches for effective involvement of all the stakeholders in school improvement matters

The research centered on delving into the experiences of a female headteacher in a public school who participated in a WSIP initiative and effectively implemented its teachings within her educational institution. This initiative stands as a flagship program of AKU-IED, PDCN in the specific context of Gilgit-Baltistan. Its aim is to introduce educational reforms in the region through formal in-person and distance education modes for headteachers. The results revealed that the WSIP intervention wielded a substantial influence over the female headteacher\u27s professional methodologies. This led to a transformation in her mindset and a noticeable enhancement of her skills. The headteacher displayed a heightened commitment to refining learning environments, specifically underscoring the significance of community involvement, fostering team cohesion, and motivating educators to attain greater results. She also displayed an increased awareness of the developmental needs of students, including portfolios development, cultivating interactive learning classrooms, and introducing innovative assessment protocols. Notably, she encountered no discernible obstacles to leveraging her professional capabilities despite her gender. The research suggests that greater consideration should be devoted to the role of female headteachers in initiatives aimed at enhancing learning. The effectiveness of such endeavors is profoundly intertwined with their active engagement. Augmenting the competencies of headteachers in this regard could potentially optimize student performance, particularly team-building and improved academic results. Collectively, this study underscores the noteworthy influence of the WSIP intervention on the professional methodologies of a female headteacher, serving in a government school situated in the Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan

The study investigates EFL (English as a Foreign Language) learners' opinions, attitudes and the challenges of incorporating AI-powered teaching and learning. It also examines how their ideas and attitudes are affected by demographic variables.  258 students were selected using a random sampling method from a population comprising students studying in different levels of programs at the College of Science and College of Business Administration, Prince Sattam bin Abdul-Aziz University, KSA. A questionnaire was self-developed using some modified items from prior studies as the study looks at how certain independent variables (e.g., study level, residential background and parents' educational level) affect the dependent variable (e.g., learners' opinions, attitudes and challenges for AI-powered learning and teaching).  The quantitative approach (descriptive quantitative design) revealed that Saudi EFL students held a high level of positive opinions and attitudes towards AI-powered learning. However, the analysis found that many students thought implementing AI-powered learning was challenging. A one-way ANOVA showed no significant difference based on respondents' residential background and parental education. However, respondents differed significantly based on their level or year of study. The study findings will assist administrators and course teachers in using AI-powered technologies to overcome challenges and prepare students for achievement in the English language
