Effect of aflatoxin B1 on DNA structural characteristic
The present investigation is an attempt to detection the effect of aflatoxin B1 on structural characteristic of DNA in different tissue, include liver, kidney, spleen and blood, in vivo by treated weight albino rate to AFB1 for 2 weeks as oral daily dose 1 ml/ kg. DNA fragmentation test was used to detect changes in DNA and micronuclei test in bone marrow cell. the results show that AFB1 causes lyses in DNA in all tissue and blood in variant level compare with negative control, liver show greater level than other organs 9660 pb, spleen was 9133 pb, kidney was 6166 pb and lower level in blood was 1366 pb. So it cause increased in micronuclei formation in bone marrow cell
Different Factors Effects In Lactating Mother's Milk Compositions
This study was carried to estimate the effects of different factors on the total protein and lipid concentrations in lactating mother's milk, such as; home, age, body mass index, lactating stage and negative smoking habitat. Total Protein concentration and lipid concentration were estimated using Bradford method and Gravimetric method respectively. Results showed that lipid concentration(L.C) increased with age, BMI, lactation stage, and affected by negative smoking and increased in rural, while protein concentration (P.C)was less effected by age, and decreased in obese and in negative smoking mothers, also it decreased in urban mothers. Protein profile showed slight differences between nonsmoking and negative smoking milk using SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. Key words: negative smoking, BMI, lactating mother’s milk.
Protective activity of some antioxidant plant against hydrogen peroxidase genotoxic effects on human lymphocyte
The study aims to evaluation protective activity of different plants extracts, methanol extract of Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.); sage (Salvia officinalis L) and Pomegranate cortex (Punica granutum) and cold and hot water extract of Ginger ( Zingiber officinale) and soaking method for saffron (Ccinerocus sativus) against oxidative stress caused by H2O2 on human lymphocyte in vitro using DNA fragmentation test . Plant extracts were characterized using thin layer chromatography and detection phenol compounds using ferric chloride reagent. Results showed that some plant extract consist of different compounds and have phenolic compounds in its extracts, some of this extracts didn’t have any effect on DNA when it use alone, but others have genotoxic effects, also its appeared protective effect against H2O2 which it caused fragment in DNA. Key words: oxidative stress, DNA fragmentation, antioxidant activity
Inhibition of cyclophosphomide mutagenicity using Glycyrrihza glabra root extract
The aims of the studying is using methanolic - water extract of the Glycyrrihza glabra root for inhibition the mutagenicity of anticancer drug by cytogenetic assays in vivo in three interaction between the drug and extract. The result shows that the extract is bioantimutagenesis. The treatment by extract after drug causes increase mitotic index and decrease chromosome aberration and sperm head abnormalities. The thin layer chromatography of the extract show that is contains different polar compounds
Protective Activity of Glycyrrihzaglabra against Histopathological Changes in White Albino Rats
The study was aimsto evaluation the protective activity of methanol-water extract of Glycyrrihzaglabraroot (GL) against histopathological changes induced by cyclophosphamide in white albino rats. Multiple doses for drug and extract were used to investigate the accumulation effect of drug and extract onliver and kidney. Results show that drug causes different harmful changes in rat organs in all doses concentrations used in study and extract have protective activity to prevent changes in tissue in 1000, 750 and 250 mg \kg , but dose 500 was failure to protect liver and lowest effect on kidney. Conclusion of present study is Glycyrrihzaglabrauseful for protective body organs against side effect of drugs and harmful effect of oxidative stress. Keywords: Glycyrrihzaglabra ,cyclophosphamide, liver, kidney
Cytotoxic and Genotoxic Effect of Aflatoxin B1
The aims of study is to determine cytogenetic and genotoxic effect of aflatoxin B1 in vivo, cytogenetic tests are used in studying include chromosome malformation, cell proliferation and plast index test in bone marrow cell in Wight albino rats, the results show that toxin causes Varity in chromosome malformation and increased the rate of it, so it increased in cell proliferation and plast index value compare with negative control
Synergism Effect of Antibacterial Activity of Some Medicinal Plants
Synergism between plant extract was carried out in present study using sex common plants whichextracted by mixture of methanol: water (20:80)%, then it characterized by thin layer chromatography, antimicrobial activity of these extract performed using OD of bacterial growth at 600 nm againstE.coli , S.aureus , Serratia Spp. , Klebsillapnemoniae, Aeromonashydrophilliaisolation from different source in hospital tests were performed as only one extract on every bacterial species then tow extract was mixed together for evaluated synergist efficiency on every bacterial species, results show that used one extract only causes decreased in bacterial growth in different level, barley was the more effect on pathogenic bacteria but sage was lower effect, it caused activated bacterial growth.Synergism between plant extract also show different effects level according to mixture forming and types of bacterial species.Present study concluded that mixture of plants used in herbal medicine have disadvantages in addition of its advantage to treatment bacterial infection, in other hand synergism between plants may be more effects. Keywords:synergism , OD, pathogenic bacteria

In vivo study of antimutagenic and antioxidant activity of Glycyrrihza glabra root extract
The studying was aimed to inhibition the mutagenecity and oxidation of genomic DNA by use methanol-water extract of Glycyrrihza glabra root (GL) against anticancer drug cyclophosphomide in rats by use DNA fragmentation test, the extract characterized by thin layer chromatography TLC, and antioxidant activity by use β- carotene spray, the experiment design to use tow single dose of GL and single dose of the drug in three interaction, extract before, with and after the drug to investigate the mechanism of which extract effect inside cell. Four multiple doses for drug and extract to investigate the accumulation effect in DNA the results show that extract is contain of different polar compound and have antioxidant activity, so the extract is bio-antimutagenesis and poor dismutagenesis activity, the extract can inhibit accumulation effect of mutagenecity and oxidation activity of the drug
