Kualitas Pakan Ruminansia yang Difermentasi Bakteri Selulolitik Actinobacillus sp.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas selulolitik bakteri Actinobacillus sp. yangdikembangbiakkan menggunakan media alternatif yang murah. Ransum lengkap disusun kemudiandifermentasi menggunakan dua faktor perlakuan meliputi empat dosis fermentasi dan dua masainkubasi. Dosis fermentasi terdiri dari 0% (K), 2% (A), 3,5% (B) and 5% (C), sedangkan faktor inkubasiterdiri dari 3 hari dan 7 hari. Media alternatif menggunakan bahan-bahan kimia teknis yang ditambahdengan susu bubuk dan jerami. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosis A, B dan C yang diinkubasi7 hari secara signifikan meningkatkan kandungan bahan organik dan protein kasar, serta menurunkanserat kasar. Dosis B dan C dengan waktu inkubasi 7 hari secara signifikan meningkatkan kandunganbahan kering
Analysis of Marketing Opportunity Increase based on Consumer Criteria for Hydroponic Vegetable Producers in Surabaya
Consumer is one of the influential factors in marketing. The study was conducted to analyze the increase in marketing opportunities based on consumer criteria for hydroponic vegetable producers in Surabaya. The research was carried out in Surabaya from Mei to June 2018. This type of research is observational analysis with survey methods on three producers about the relationship between producers and consumers according to their respective producers. Data were analyzed with AHP (Analysis Hierarchy Process) and the process used Expert Choice 2000. Data were examined using descriptive or qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Quantitative analysis includes a scale of trust and commitment measurement. The distribution of hydroponics vegetables at âKebunsayur Surabayaâ prioritizes ârestaurantâ and âhotelâ, âJawaRa Farmâ prioritizes âkale suppliersâ and âOne STOP Hydroponicsâ prioritizes âindividual customersâ (vegetable displays)
Analysis of the Establishment of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for the Animal Health Center (UPTD Puskeswan) for the Food Crops, Horticulture and Livestock Service Office in Mamuju Regency
The purpose of this study was a strategy in designing the establishment of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit for Animal Health Centers (UPTD Puskeswan) in order to optimize animal health services in Mamuju Regency. This study used an exploratory method using a survey. The sampling technique in this study used questionnaires, documentation and interviews. There were 10 samples of respondents from animal health workers and 100 samples of service users. Data analysis in this study used SWOT analysis. The appropriate strategy to support animal health services is a rapid growth strategy with alternative strategies: (1) strength-opportunity (SO) to improve service quality, service quantity and support the operational needs of officers in carrying out activities; (2) strength-threat (ST) implementing service SOP for animal health officers so that services are more efficient and systematic; (3) weakness-opportunity (WO) socialization of services to facilitate information to the public; and (4) weakness-threat (WT) making long-term planning to improve work ethic and understanding of drug use by veterinary officers
Bacillus subtilis Probiotics in Chicken Feed Improve Egg Quality with Differences in Shelf Life
This study aims to examine the effect of giving Bacillus subtilis probiotics in laying hens on improving the quality of internal and external eggs with differences in shelf life. A total of 60 laying hens were divided into 4 treatment groups, namely P0 as a control that was not given probiotic B. Subtilis, P1 feed was added 0.005 grams B. Subtilis, P2 feed with added 0.01 grams B. Subtilis, P3 feed added 0.02 grams B. Subtilis then the eggs produced are stored for 1 day, 5 days and 10 days. The results of this study indicate that the administration of B. Subtilis probiotics with a concentration of 0.02 grams affects the increase in egg weight, egg yolk index value and HU values. The addition of B. Subtilis probiotics to racial feed can improve egg quality
Maggot Black Soldier Fly Supplementation on Feed to Production Performance and Business Analysis Super Native Chicken Finisher Period
This study aimed to determine the analysis of super native chicken farm business with Black Soldier Fly (BSF) maggot supplementation on feed on the production performance of super native chickens, including feed consumption, body weight gain and feed conversion. This study used 50 super male native chickens aged 4 weeks and adapted for 1 week then randomized into five treatments, including P0 (basal feed without BSF maggot), P1 (basal feed + 2.5% BSF maggot), P2 (basal feed + 5% BSF maggot), P3 (basal feed + 7.5% BSF maggot), and P4 (basal feed + 10% BSF maggot). Statistical data analysis was processed using One Way ANOVA and followed by post hoc Duncan. The results showed that the level of feed consumption was high in treatment P4, the highest body weight gain was in P4, the lowest feed conversion was in P1. Contribution margin analysis (CM) was used to determine the benefits of the treatment in this study. 2.5% BSF (P1) maggot supplementation is recommended to increase profits
EFEK PENGGUNAAN PROBIOTIK Lactobacillus casei DAN Bifidobacterium sp TERHADAP ANGKA KONVERSI PAKAN DAN KONSUMSI PAKAN PADA AYAM PETELUR YANG DIINFEKSI Escherichia coli
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui probiotik Lactobacillus casei dan Bifidobacterium sp terhadap rasio konversi pakan dan konsumsi pakan pada ayam petelur yang diinfeksi escherichia coli. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan sebanyak 120 ekor ayam petelur umur 25 minggu dengan menggunakan metode percobaan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial. Probiotik L.casei 108 CFU/ml dan Bifidobacterium sp 108 CFU/ml diberikan seacara oral melalui air minum sebanyak 250 ml air/ekor/hari. Hasil penelitian efek probiotik Lactobacillus casei dan Bifidobacterium (p 0,05). Konsumsi pakan tidak menunjukkan perbedaan antara perlakuan dan kontrol yaitu berkisar 113,72 sampai 114,22 g/ekor/hari. Konversi pakan menunjukkan perbedaan yang nyata p<0,05 terhadap FCR. Terdapat interaksi antara infeksi dengan feed additive p<0,05 terhadap FCR
Supplementation of Fermented Moringa Leaf Powder (Moringa oleifera) on Feed Consumption, Egg Weight and Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) in Laying Duck
This study aimed to determine the effect of the addition of fermented moringa leaf powder on feed consumption, egg weight, Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) of laying ducks. 60 laying ducks were randomized into four treatments i.e. (P0) 0% Moringa leaf powder fermentation, (P1) 0.5% Moringa leaf powder fermentation, (P2) 1% Moringa leaf powder fermentation, and (P3) 1.5% Moringa leaf fermentation. Treatment of concentration refered in 100% commercial feed for 3 weeks. The results showed that the adding of Moringa leaf powder fermentation to feed consumption in each treatment showed significantly different results (p <0.05) in each treatment, with the highest consumption at P2 (176.21 ± 0.92) and the lowest at P0 (158.21 ± 1.07). The results of the study on duck egg weight showed that P1, P2, P3 were significantly different with P0. The highest egg weight in P2 is (70.50 ± 0.34) and the lowest is P0 (66.98a ± 0.29). FCR of laying duck in each treatment showed significantly different results in each treatment, with the highest at P0 (3,81± 0,34) and the lowest at P2 (3,27 ± 0,09). In conclusion, the addition of 1% Moringa leaf powder in 100% of commercial feed can increase feed consumption, increase egg weight and decrease FCR
Effect of Combination of Probiotics and Moringa oleifera Leaf Extract on Nutrients Intake in Ducks
The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of combination probiotics and Moringa oleifera (M. oleifera) extract in nutrient consumption of ducks. This study used 48 Peking ducks. The concentration of probiotic was 1.2 x 108 CFU/ml. The treatments of this research were P0 (control), P1 (4 ml probiotics), P2 (4 ml M. oleifera extract) and P3 (2 ml probiotics + 2 ml M. oleifera extract). The data were statistically analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results showed that feed consumption of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, crude fat, crude fiber and nitrogen free extract were no significant difference (p>0.05) between all treatments. It can be concluded that the addition of combination probiotics and M. oleifera extract can be used to maintain nutrient consumption and safe for health ducks
Pengaruh Substitusi Tepung Buah Hala (Pandanus tectorius) dalam Pelet Terhadap Konsumsi Bahan Kering dan Bobot Kelinci Pedaging
Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efek substitusi tepung buah hala dalam pelet pada konsumsi bahan kering dan pertambahan bobot badan harian pada kelinci jantan ras Flemish giant. Metode penelitian eksperimental ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 5 pengulangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 20 ekor kelinci ras Flemish giant jantan berumur 1,5-2 bulan dengan bobot rata-rata 750 gram. Kelompok perlakuan pakan adalah P0 (100% pakan komersil), P1 (85% pakan komersil dengan 15% tepung buah hala), P2 (75% pakan komersil dengan 25% tepung buah hala), P3 (60% pakan komersil dengan 40% tepung buah hala) dan diberikan sebanyak 150 gram/hari untuk setiap kelompok. Data yang didapat dianalisa menggunakan ANOVA dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan multiple test. Hasil menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p0,05). Rata-rata konsumsi bahan kering/hari pada kelompok P0 hingga P3 adalah 121,088±0,57 gram; 120,12±2,11 gram; 119,98±0,87 gram; 118,19±0,67 gram. Rata-rata pertambahan bobot badan harian pada P0 hingga P3 adalah 84±0,79 gram; 83,1±0,89 gram; 78,6±2,84 gram; 74,5±2,09 gram. Pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kandungan tepung buah hala sebanyak 25% pada pakan tidak terdapat perbedaan pada konsumsi bahan kering dan pertambahan bobot kelinci bila dibandingkan dengan pelet komersil
The Quality of Japanese Quail Eggs After Administration of Bifidobacterium sp. and Guazuma ulmifolia Leaf Extract
This study aimed to determine the effect of Bifidobacterium sp. and Guazuma ulmifolia leaf extract on Japanese quail egg production, including egg mass, haugh unit (HU), and egg yolk colour. A total of 96 quails were in the early stages of production, which were randomized into four treatments and six replications. The treatments were (T0) without Bifidobacterium sp. and G. ulmifolia leaf extract, (T1) 0.2% Bifidobacterium sp., (T2) 0.2% G. ulmifolia leaf extract, and (T3) 0.2% Bifidobacterium sp. + 0.2% G. ulmifolia leaf extract. Egg mass data was collected in the third and fourth week of the treatment period, while the HU data and egg yolk colour were carried out on the last week of the treatment period. The treatment groups showed significant differences in egg mass. Groups T2 and T3 showed significant differences in egg yolk colour. The combination of feed additives can increase the value of HU but not significantly (p>0.05). In conclusion, the combination of 0.2% Bifidobacterium sp. and 0.2% G. ulmifolia leaf extract in drinking water can produce the highest egg quality
