Test for monotone variance residual life class of life distributions based on total time on test transformation

Test for exponentially against decreasing (increasing) variance remaining life distribution DVRL (IVRL) is introduced. We construct test statistic based on scaled total time on test (TTT)-transform, to test exponentiality versus DVRL (IVRL) class. The distribution of the statistic is investigated via simulation.
