‘Reality Shock’ of Management Education in India: Issues and Challenges

    Get PDF
The best business leaders and management professional can be created only by a successful synthesis of academic theory and business practices or industrial experience. The business education should be based on practical or simulated and effective case studies by quality faculty, latest ICT facilities and infrastructure. If the educational infrastructure is sound then only one can expect a strong structure in future. There is need of convergence of these components into one and then only delivery of it can be made to all its stakeholders effectively. The model of I-S has been proposed to combat the ongoing battle of quality and employment considerations to its stakeholders. Universal spectral correlations in ensembles of random normal matrices

We consider non-gaussian ensembles of random normal matrices with the constraint that the ensembles are invariant under unitary transformations. We show that the level density of eigenvalues exhibits disk to ring transition in the complex plane. We also show that the n-eigenvalue correlation and the spacing distribution are universal and identical to that of complex (Gaussian) Ginibre ensemble. Our results are confirmed by Monte Carlo calculations. We verify the universality for dissipative quantum kicked rotor system.Comment: 16 pages, 6 figure

Random Matrix Model for Nakagami-Hoyt Fading

Random matrix model for the Nakagami-q (Hoyt) fading in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication channels with arbitrary number of transmitting and receiving antennas is considered. The joint probability density for the eigenvalues of H{\dag}H (or HH{\dag}), where H is the channel matrix, is shown to correspond to the Laguerre crossover ensemble of random matrices and is given in terms of a Pfaffian. Exact expression for the marginal density of eigenvalues is obtained as a series consisting of associated Laguerre polynomials. This is used to study the effect of fading on the Shannon channel capacity. Exact expressions for higher order density correlation functions are also given which can be used to study the distribution of channel capacity.Comment: 11 pages, 4 figure
