The Effect of Educational Background on Politeness Among the Students of Stain Jurai Siwo Metro
Humans are social creatures who need other humans to fullfil their needs, communication and interaction have a crucial role to fullfil those needs. In order to the communication process can proceed smoothly, then at least human need to speak in polite in the communication. Religious norms and the community shows that politeness is necessary to properly maximized. Politeness in the relating of the Holy Qur\u27an about pronunciation, gestures and vocabulary was polite and adapted to the circumstances (environment). In social life, politeness is usually used to show respect for older people, but it would be better also if used against a fellow or a younger person. Politeness will minimize conflict and hostility. Because of it, the institution is one way of language education. STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro is an Islamic institution, that students have many educational backgrounds and is so different each other. Based on the mapping carried out showed that students of English Department Program, the majority coming from Senior High School (SMA). This study aims to determine the reality of politeness and influence of the educational background to the student politeness in English Study Program STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive, where interviews, observation and documentation used by researchers in collecting and obtaining data. From the data obtained show that the reality of politeness students have to realize elements of politeness. Furthermore, based on analysis of the data also showed that educational background gives affect student in politeness
Mapping of Landslide Hazard Distribution in Alo Watershed Gorontalo Regency
Landslide occurrence can be influenced by physical factors and human activities. Thus, research related to the provision of information about landslide distribution in Alo watershed is needed as a basis in enhancing community preparedness in dealing with disasters. The method used in this study is the scoring method based on the Minister of Public Works Regulation No.22 / PRT / M / 2017 which is processed through a geographical information system through the overlay of all physical parameters. The result shows that the Alo watershed area is divided into three vulnerability categories. "Low" category covers 7171.8 ha, "medium" category covers 12008.7 ha, and "high" category covers 5039.5 ha out of 24.221 ha the total area of Alo watershed. Information provided in this research is expected to be able to help the local government in making policies in managing the Alo watershed area and enhancing the understanding of the local community in Alo watershed in dealing with disasters
FDM preparation of bio-compatible UHMWPE polymer for artificial implant
Due to its properties of high wear, creep resistance, high stiffness and strength, Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) was developed to eliminate most metallic wear in artificial implant, which conventionally found in stainless steel, Cobalt Chromium (Co-Cr) and Titanium (Ti) alloys. UHMWPE has an ultra-high viscosity that renders continuous melt-state processes including one of the additive manufacturing processes, Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) ineffective for making UHMWPE implant. Attempt to overcome this problem and adapting this material to FDM is by blending UHMWPE with other polyethylene including High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and Polyethylene-Glycol (PEG) which provide adequate mechanical properties for biomedical application along with the improvement in extrudability. It was demonstrated that the inclusion of 60% HDPE fraction has improved the flowability of UHMWPE in MFI test and showing adequate thermal stability in TGA
Competition of L21 and XA Ordering in Fe2CoAl Heusler Alloy: A First-Principles Study
The physical properties of Fe2CoAl (FCA) Heusler alloy are systematically
investigated using the first-principles calculations within generalized
gradient approximation (GGA) and GGA+U. The influence of atomic ordering with
respect to the Wyckoff sites on the phase stability, magnetism and half
metallicity in both the conventional L21 and XA phases of FCA is focused in
this study. Various possible hypothetical structures viz., L21, XA-I, and XA-II
are prepared by altering atomic occupancies at their Wyckoff sites. At first,
we have determined the stable phase of FCA considering various non-magnetic (or
paramagnetic), ferromagnetic (FM) and antiferromagnetic (AFM) configurations.
Out of these, the ferromagnetic (FM) XA-I structure is found to be
energetically most stable. The total magnetic moments per cell are not in
agreement with the Slater-Pauling (SP) rule in any phases; therefore, the
half-metallicity is not observed in any configurations. However, FM ordered
XA-I type FCA shows 78% spin polarization at EF. Interestingly, the results of
XA-I type FCA are closely matched with the experimental results.Comment: 15 pages, 6 figure

A novel Genetic Algorithm (GA) assisted direct error probability optimisation technique is proposed for adaptive beamforming, which reduces the achievable error probability by nearly two orders of magnitude at a signal-to-noise ratio of 10dB in the investigated scenario in comparison to the minimum mean-squared error beamforming benchmarker
Factors Affecting Job Satisfaction: a Case Study at Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia Terengganu (FRDMT) Fire Fighters
Job satisfaction involves the emotions and their behavioural expression towards their job. It is known that a job is the activity which involves the satisfaction of emotion and expression. These emotions and behavioural expression is in relation to the pleasant or unpleasant feeling that they experienced towards their job fulfilment within an organization. These feelings are influenced by job-related factors. This had highly suggested that a job satisfaction level should be well accepted and satisfied by any employees to guarantee a minimal turnover for any organization. Therefore, the objective of this study is to identify the factors that influence job satisfaction among Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, Terengganu (FRDMT) fire fighters. It involves fire fighters from different grade level. It is important to identify job satisfaction among them in order to acknowledge their expression towards job satisfaction and to accommodate their opportunities to voice their opinion anonymously. This study uses primary data of 234 Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia, Terengganu (FRDMT) fire fighters. Stratified random sampling technique was utilized for data collection, which is then analyzed using the descriptive and correlation analysis in order to achieve the objectives of the study. The findings showed that only working environment and co-workers significantly influence job satisfaction. Meanwhile, for the other three variables, namely promotion, reward and leadership style did not influence job satisfaction.

Nuclear Effects in Neutrino Induced Coherent Pion Production at K2K and MiniBooNE Neutrino Energies
The coherent pion production induced by neutrinos in nuclei is studied using
a delta hole model in local density approximation taking into account the
renormalization of properties in a nuclear medium. The pion absorption
effects have been included in an eikonal approximation. These effects give a
large reduction in the total cross section. The numerical results for the total
cross section are found to be consistent with recent experimental results from
K2K and MiniBooNE collaborations and other older experiments in the
