Homogeneous heterotic supergravity solutions with linear dilaton
I construct solutions to the heterotic supergravity BPS-equations on products
of Minkowski space with a non-symmetric coset. All of the bosonic fields are
homogeneous and non-vanishing, the dilaton being a linear function on the

A Deformation of Sasakian Structure in the Presence of Torsion and Supergravity Solutions
We discuss a deformation of Sasakian structure in the presence of totally
skew-symmetric torsion by introducing odd dimensional manifolds whose metric
cones are K\"ahler with torsion. It is shown that such a geometry inherits
similar properties to those of Sasakian geometry. As an example of them, we
present an explicit expression of local metrics and see how Sasakian structure
is deformed by the presence of torsion. We also demonstrate that our example of
the metrics admits the existence of hidden symmetries described by non-trivial
odd-rank generalized closed conformal Killing-Yano tensors. Furthermore, using
these metrics as an {\it ansatz}, we construct exact solutions in five
dimensional minimal (un-)gauged supergravity and eleven dimensional
supergravity. Finally, we discuss the global structures of the solutions and
obtain regular metrics on compact manifolds in five dimensions, which give
natural generalizations of Sasaki--Einstein manifolds and
. We also discuss regular metrics on non-compact manifolds in eleven

Does hip muscle strength and functional performance differ between football players with and without hip dysplasia?
Objective: To compare hip muscle strength and functional performance in football players with and without hip dysplasia and investigate if the relationships were modified by sex. Design: Cross-sectional study. Methods: This study compared football players with hip dysplasia (HD group) and without hip dysplasia (control group). Hip muscle strength (Nm/kg) and functional task performance were assessed in both groups. Linear regression with generalized estimating equations were used to assess differences between groups. Sex was assessed as a potential effect modifier. Results: 101 football players were included (HD group, n = 50, control group, n = 87). There was no difference in hip muscle strength or functional performance between the HD group and the control group. Results ranged from hip extension strength (Estimate â0.13.95%CI: 0.29 to 0.02, P = 0.087) to hip external rotation strength (Estimate 0.00.95%CI: 0.05 to 0.05, P = 0.918). No relationships were modified by sex or age. Conclusions: Similar levels of hip muscle strength and functional performance were found in active football players with and without hip dysplasia. These findings differ from other studies. This may be due to our cohort having less advanced hip dysplasia than the surgical populations that have been previously investigated, or due to a beneficial effect of football participation on muscle strength and functional performance in people with hip dysplasia.</p
Measurement of the ttÂŻ production cross-section using eÎŒ events with b-tagged jets in pp collisions at âs=13TeV with the ATLAS detector
This paper describes a measurement of the inclusive top quark pair production cross-section (ÏttÂŻ) with a data sample of 3.2fbâ1 of protonâproton collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of s=13TeV, collected in 2015 by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. This measurement uses events with an opposite-charge electronâmuon pair in the final state. Jets containing b-quarks are tagged using an algorithm based on track impact parameters and reconstructed secondary vertices. The numbers of events with exactly one and exactly two b-tagged jets are counted and used to determine simultaneously ÏttÂŻ and the efficiency to reconstruct and b-tag a jet from a top quark decay, thereby minimising the associated systematic uncertainties. The cross-section is measured to be:ÏttÂŻ=818±8(stat)±27(syst)±19(lumi)±12(beam) pb, where the four uncertainties arise from data statistics, experimental and theoretical systematic effects, the integrated luminosity and the LHC beam energy, giving a total relative uncertainty of 4.4%. The result is consistent with theoretical QCD calculations at next-to-next-to-leading order. A fiducial measurement corresponding to the experimental acceptance of the leptons is also presented
Search for dark matter in association with a Higgs boson decaying to b-quarks in pp collisions at s=13 TeV with the ATLAS detector
A search for dark matter pair production in association with a Higgs boson decaying to a pair of bottom quarks is presented, using 3.2 fbâ1 of pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 13 TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC. The decay of the Higgs boson is reconstructed as a high-momentum bbÂŻ system with either a pair of small-radius jets, or a single large-radius jet with substructure. The observed data are found to be consistent with the expected backgrounds. Results are interpreted using a simplified model with a ZâČ gauge boson mediating the interaction between dark matter and the Standard Model as well as a two-Higgs-doublet model containing an additional ZâČ boson which decays to a Standard Model Higgs boson and a new pseudoscalar Higgs boson, the latter decaying into a pair of dark matter particles
Search for resonances in the mass distribution of jet pairs with one or two jets identified as b-jets in protonâproton collisions at s=13Â TeV with the ATLAS detector
© 2016 The AuthorSearches for high-mass resonances in the dijet invariant mass spectrum with one or two jets identified as b-jets are performed using an integrated luminosity of 3.2 fbâ1 of protonâproton collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of s=13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. No evidence of anomalous phenomena is observed in the data, which are used to exclude, at 95% credibility level, excited bâ quarks with masses from 1.1 TeV to 2.1 TeV and leptophobic ZâČ bosons with masses from 1.1 TeV to 1.5 TeV. Contributions of a Gaussian signal shape with effective cross sections ranging from approximately 0.4 to 0.001 pb are also excluded in the mass range 1.5â5.0 TeV
Search for new phenomena in dijet mass and angular distributions from pp collisions at âs = 13 TeV with the ATLAS detector
This Letter describes a model-agnostic search for pairs of jets (dijets) produced by resonant and non-resonant phenomena beyond the Standard Model in 3.6 fbâ1 of protonâproton collisions with a centre-of-mass energy of âs = 13 TeV recorded by the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider. The distribution of the invariant mass of the two leading jets is examined for local excesses above a data-derived estimate of the smoothly falling prediction of the Standard Model. The data are also compared to a Monte Carlo simulation of Standard Model angular distributions derived from the rapidity of the two jets. No evidence of anomalous phenomena is observed in the data, which are used to exclude, at 95% CL, quantum black holes with threshold masses below 8.3 TeV, 8.1 TeV, or 5.1 TeV in three different benchmark scenarios; resonance masses below 5.2 TeV for excited quarks, 2.6 TeV in a W model, a range of masses starting from mZ = 1.5 TeV and couplings from gq = 0.2 in a Z model; and contact interactions with a compositeness scale below 12.0 TeV and 17.5 TeV respectively for destructive and constructive interference between the new interaction and QCD processes. These results significantly extend the ATLAS limits obtained from 8 TeV data. Gaussian-shaped contributions to the mass distribution are also excluded if the effective cross-section exceeds values ranging from approximately 50â300 fb for masses below 2 TeV to 2â20 fb for masses above 4 TeV
