    The study builds up a financial inclusion index (FII) across districts of 27 Indian states utilizing UNDP's similar approach in constructing the Human Development Index. The FII is constructed for the period 2011-2018. The study additionally investigates government schemes' effectiveness, especially the PMJDY, in augmenting financial inclusion throughout its inception. The study's significant finding shows that a greater part of the Indian locale falls under the class of low financial inclusion. Southern areas perform better while the central, eastern, and north-eastern locale perform poorly in financial inclusion. Further, FII and HDI have a positive association between them. Furthermore, the PMJDY framework has not driven the economy towards a high degree of financial inclusion with only a couple of areas improving their rank from low to medium financial inclusion. Subsequently, underlying changes are legitimized in the institutional setting by fortifying and growing monetary organizations and all the while handling digital literacy

The FII is developed in line with Sarma (2012) methodology. The proposed index used three dimensions: Deposit Penetration, Credit Penetration, and Availability. The study's significant finding shows southern and western districts are performing better in financial inclusion than other districts. Most of the central, eastern, and north-eastern districts fell under the low inclusion category. Further, FII has a positive relation with HDI. Furthermore, the particular scheme PMJDY has not taken the economy towards high financial inclusion as the number of high inclusion districts increased from 6 in 2014 to just 9 in 2018, and medium inclusion districts increased from 41 in 2014 to 60 in 2018. The investigation suggests that monetary comprehensiveness needs a reasonable methodology that incorporates a fundamental update of the monetary framework and fortifying and growing monetary organizations amassing especially in backward regions, where government activity is required, at the same time handling digital education by making mindfulness, which will additionally expand the interest for monetary services

    Characterization and Comparison of the Leukocyte Transcriptomes of Three Cattle Breeds

    In this study, mRNA-Seq was used to characterize and compare the leukocyte transcriptomes from two taurine breeds (Holstein and Jersey), and one indicine breed (Cholistani). At the genomic level, we identified breed-specific base changes in protein coding regions. Among 7,793,425 coding bases, only 165 differed between Holstein and Jersey, and 3,383 (0.04%) differed between Holstein and Cholistani, 817 (25%) of which resulted in amino acid changes in 627 genes. At the transcriptional level, we assembled transcripts and estimated their abundances including those from more than 3,000 unannotated intergeneic regions. Differential gene expression analysis showed a high similarity between Holstein and Jersey, and a much greater difference between the taurine breeds and the indicine breed. We identified gene ontology pathways that were systematically altered, including the electron transport chain and immune response pathways that may contribute to different levels of heat tolerance and disease resistance in taurine and indicine breeds. At the post-transcriptional level, sequencing mRNA allowed us to identify a number of genes undergoing differential alternative splicing among different breeds. This study provided a high-resolution survey of the variation between bovine transcriptomes at different levels and may provide important biological insights into the phenotypic differentiation among cattle breeds

    Hydrogels evolved as an outstanding carrier material for local and controlled drug delivery that tend to overcome the shortcomings of old conventional dosage forms for small drugs (NSAIDS) and large peptides and proteins. The aqueous swellable and crosslinked polymeric network structure of hydrogels is composed of various natural, synthetic and semisynthetic biodegradable polymers. Hydrogels have remarkable properties of functionality, reversibility, sterilizability, and biocompatibility. All these dynamic properties of hydrogels have increased the interest in their use as a carrier for peptides and proteins to be released slowly in a sustained manner. Peptide and proteins are remarkable therapeutic agents in today’s world that allow the treatment of severe, chronic and life-threatening diseases, such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis. Despite few limitations, hydrogels provide fine tuning of proteins and peptides delivery with enormous impact in clinical medicine. Novels drug delivery systems composed of smart peptides and molecules have the ability to drive self-assembly and form hydrogels at physiological pH. These hydrogels are significantly important for biological and medical fields. The primary objective of this article is to review current issues concerned with the therapeutic peptides and proteins and impact of remarkable properties of hydrogels on these therapeutic agents. Different routes for pharmaceutical peptides and proteins and superiority over other drugs candidates are presented. Recent advances based on various approaches like self-assembly of peptides and small molecules to form novel hydrogels are also discussed. The article will also review the literature concerning the classification of hydrogels on a different basis, polymers used, “release mechanisms” their physical and chemical characteristics and diverse applications
