The REDE Model of Healthcare Communication: Optimizing Relationship as a Therapeutic Agent

The REDE model is a conceptual framework for teaching relationship-centered healthcare communication. Based on the premise that genuine relationships are a vital therapeutic agent, use of the framework has the potential to positively influence both patient and provider.
