Observations on social and economic welfare in the European context

In the globalization era that we are witnessing, the social problems of welfare and development have become key points on the agendas of European countries and not only. The present economic and political context has proved once more that social welfare represents an essential objective of any society.    As the core objective of any economy is to create goods and services in order to satisfy needs on the one hand and social discontent occurs in societies characterized by obvious inequalities on the other hand, it will be natural that any nation will try to achieve a system producing social-economic welfare or, in other words a welfare economy. The role of the state in this field will consist in the creation of tools and methods which should lead to the redistribution of incomes, as economic welfare in a consumption society is deeply connected to the welfare of individuals, families, groups; consequently the standard of living becomes the most important indicator measuring the level of economic welfare.The present article is a comparative study of different types of welfare states as well as a comparative presentation of the situation of the welfare states for different European countries.  

Remarks on the marketing of educational nowadays

     This article examines the marketing of educational products and services based on theoretical premises of marketing as defined in the specialized literature; were also identified the main characteristics of the marketing process of the teacher-manager: knowledge, identification and initial evaluation of the students’ expectations and needs of training and information. In our daily work, marketing becomes an essential element of the teacher’s strategic management, influencing our decisions in the field of course design, organization, coordination and evaluation (of the academic courses)

The training in market economy

The present global economic situation led to a re-consideration of the place held by human resources professional formation and development within an organization and on a larger scale of the place that a country's labour force development and specialization should hold for overcoming the effects of the global economic crisis. First of all the formal education achieved in schools, highschools and universities should support the society's (at a macro level) and community's (at a micro level) efforts to reach economic and social progress and should act as a catalizator for progress, due to simplified curricula, adapted to the labour force demands and foreseeing global research trends and domanins.
