Teachers Who Face the Challenges of Educational Integration in Palestine
The objective of this study was to investigate and recognise teachers‟ perceptions regarding the most
significant difficulties faced by the programme for integrating students with disabilities into regular classes in
Bethlehem; in particular, perspectives of the current situation and the ideal scenario were obtained. A descriptive
methodology was utilised, and the parameters of reliability and validity were applied to the elaboration of a survey. The
results were organised in accordance with the topics addressed by teachers‟ opinions, which included students, teachers,
parents, schools, curricula, extracurricular activities, classroom management, teaching methodology, and awareness and
attitude
Prevalence of Functional Deviation Among School Teachers in Bethlehem Governorate from The Point of View of Directors and Supervisors
This study aimed to identify the extent prevalence of functional deviation among school teachers in Bethlehem governorate from the point of view of directors and supervisors. This study sample consisted of all the directors of public and private schools in Bethlehem governorate, the number of them is 206 directors a supervisor, there are 172 directors and 34 supervisors, the study problem was about the extent prevalence of functional deviation among school teachers in Bethlehem governorate from the point of view of directors and supervisors. The questionnaire was used as a research tool, and it consisted 25 paragraphs were distributed into two fields, the first one talked about the intended behaviors and the second one talked about the unintended behaviors to measure the extent prevalence of functional deviation among school teachers in Bethlehem governorate from the point of view of directors and supervisors.
To achieve the objectives of the study and to answer its question, the researchers used the statistical analysis: Cronbach\u27s alpha equation to ensure the stability of the study tool, and Pearson correlation coefficient to verify the internal honesty of the tool. So Statistical averages, standard deviations, frequencies, arithmetical averages, and standard deviations were obtained for the response of the study population due to independent variables, and this is through the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences program (SPSS).
The study reached to many results some of these: That there are apparent differences due to the supervisor (governmental or private), the government responses are higher than the private responses, as the results showed The results also showed that there were an apparent differences due to the functional name (Supervisor, director) the supervisors responses are higher than the directors responses in a simple difference, and the results showed that there were an apparent differences depends on the sex (Male, Female) the arithmetical averages for the males were higher than the arithmetical averages for the females. And based on these results, the study recommended the following: To provide an atmosphere of privacy for the employee, especially in the performance of his work, because it reduces his sense of permanent control that hinders his devotion to his work and to promote a culture of commitment among teachers, through the provision of a number of policies and procedures that help the teacher to adhere to his workplace, and the obligation to carry out his dutie
El plan de estudios palestino desde una perspectiva israelí
Este artículo aborda el plan de estudios existente en los centros educativos de Palestina desde un punto de vista israelí. La realidad de la escuela y de los libros de texto palestinos son objeto de controversia y debate en Israel. Promueven una realidad y alienta otra mirada que es observada con recelo si no hay unas bases sólidas de acuerdo y respeto entre ambos pueblos. El artículo parte del derecho de cada pueblo a diseñar su plan de estudios. Del mismo modo, señala que es compatible el ejercicio de este derecho desde una identidad nacional propia con el trabajo activo por la comprensión y el conocimiento como bases para la confianza. El artículo Indaga sobre las dos principales posturas que suscita fuera de Palestina: a favor o reconociendo el derecho palestino a diseñar su educación y materiales curriculares; o bien, en contra y recelando de estos materiales y de sus consecuencias. Delimita las principales argumentaciones que se esgrimen en el debate. Y concluye con un escenario de conocimiento e indagación para la mutua comprensión y respeto. Por lo que promueve un nuevo análisis del currículum y los libros de texto palestinos actuales, que será objeto de su tesis doctoral: “El Currículo Palestino y la Representación de la Identidad Palestina en el año 2010”
مستوى الاغتراب الوظيفي لدى معلمي المدارس الحكومية في محافظة الخليل
This study aimed to investigate the job alienation level among the teachers of government schools in Hebron Governorate. The study based on a descriptive approach. The study population consisted of all teachers at government schools in Hebron Governorate during the 2018-2019 academic year numbered (8663). A sample of (717) school teachers were used to collect data; besides that, the instrument of this study was a (questionnaire) consisting of (41) items and divided into (5) aspects which represent the aspects of job alienation. The validity and the reliability of the instrument were determined by appropriate methods. The questions and hypotheses of the study were answered and tested by using the Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS). The results of this study revealed that the level of job alienation among the teachers of government schools in Hebron Governorate was low with a mean average of (2.18) of the total degree. The results showed that there were significant differences in the estimation of government school teachers concerning job alienation related to various variables of: gender (in favor of males), directorate (in favor of the South Hebron Directorate), years of experience (in favor of 5-10 years of experience). However, the results showed that there were no significant differences in the estimation of government school teachers concerning job alienation related to the variable of school level. Finally, the study recommended some recommendations
